It's baffling that he wasn't offered some sort of promo/character coach or some sort of PR/Community outreach position given how over he's kept himself with the WWE fans for 15 years. There's a lot of people on the roster that could learn from him on how to connect his fans.
Who said he wasn’t?

I honestly preferred him as Ron "The Truth" Killings than R-Truth. R-Truth did too much. But he has the talent to make stupid gimmicks work.

I'm old enough to remember him as K-Kwik.

Thought he would return with that name, but they've retconned that :francis:

I'm shocked this was done tbh, wasn't Ron Cena a top merch seller?

1) There's a 150+ post thread about Truth being released. There would probably be 60-70% less posts if this were a "Truth renegotiated his contract and is now moving into a Legends deal and will be coaching in NXT" thread.

2) Truth himself broke the news that he's done with the company coming up and wrestlers from WWE are reacting publicly about him being gone from the company. Completely different tone from all involved if he were retiring and signing a legends deal.

Boy WWE is batting a thousand on bad optics right now. Letting go of a beloved black male wrestler, while getting redy to bring in a white woman that you really don't need. I haven't even watched a full episode of RAW or SD the last few months. I catch highlights and unless something drastically changes that's how it's going to be for a while.

WrestleMania left such a bad taste for me that I’ve been in the same boat

He did, but I remember that program with him and Miz was pretty entertaining back then

That angle when they broke into the HIAC and got arrested :wow:

People keep forgetting that it's a business at the end of the day and unfortunately people's livelihood are caught in the crossfire.

Your job don't give a damn about you, so you should treat it under the same viewpoint as well in always looking out for you.

It sucks that R-Truth had to be the realization for the talent in that locker room.
