This is true of almost every rapper. 5 years (if they're lucky) of prime material and then a bunch of meh or wack shyt. Of course if you're into a particular rappers style of music you give them a bit of a pass on average material, but its true of your favorite rapper too.

Eminem is a masterful technical lyricist, but he is a terrible artist. Other technical emcees will have high respect for him because they are listening for different things. I still doubt Ra is riding around bumping Eminem

Most rappers, sure, but not rappers some call GOAT. To be fair, it's mostly cacs calling Eminem the GOAT, but still...one can make the argument that Nas and Jay have put out mediocre mid-career albums, and they did, but they have balanced that with good late-career albums. Eminem hasn't - it's all been garbage for the past fifteen years to the point that the bad now outweighs the good.
