Stop snitching. They are gonna try to do Raleigh how they did Nashville.

Explain :patrice:

Raleigh is Raleigh.

It's not ATL, DC, Miami, Chicago, or even Memphis.

It has it's own vibe and frequency....which is "slower" in some respects.
Don't come expecting what you would get from other cities. It's history and geography doesn't correlate to certain factors, but there are much worse locations. It can be fun.

#3 QoL in the world is not to shabby.

That's the point of the article lmao! To blow up the spot for people looking to move from big cities to somewhere more affordable and slower. The next thing you know half the locals have to move because the cost of living went up.

I just moved here for work. I can see why people would and wouldn’t like it, its pretty much the epitomy of :ld::patrice:

If you gotta always be seen/out and about, I dont think you’d like it. On the other hand its relatively affordable, and the traffic isnt that bad. I’ve heard people complain but if you have lived or worked in a higher concentration area; Miami, DC, Jersey, etc. you know this shyt is light.

@JT-Money where do these exoticals be that you speak of :gucci:

Just visit North Hills, Crabtree Mall or visit downtown during lunchtime. Especially downtown when some huge event is going on. Everyday I would see a chick badder than the previous one.

Going be even better if they connect that light rail to Raleigh :banderas:

Funny story about that. My homeboy parents got land and his grandfather built a house on it and it goes thru the projected path of this. Not only are they not buying them off the land (which they don’t want to sell) they deem the house worth that was built 0$ and are trying to using legal loop holes to force them out of their home and tear down the built house

That's that bullshiit. Pay them their money.
See that's how you get a project stalled out. :francis:

This is how I felt too. Have no intention on going back to Raleigh or Durham.

I didn’t like Raleigh or Durham. Raleigh was boring to me, not much to it. We left after three days(we were ready to go by that point). Wasn’t what I was looking for in a city at all. It looked and felt too country to me.

I love Charlotte though.
