In the grand scheme of things, absolutely not.
He's only been named on one All-Defensive team, and he's not talked about as one of the most impactful defenders in the league, rather only a good defensive guard. Only Draymond over the last 4-5 seasons has had more defensive impact. And in general, I don't think his defensive abilities and roles are talked about enough.

Tristan Thompson knocking down multiple 3s before Ben Simmons
he hasn't been best for that long. He wasn't even on a lot of casuals radar until the last year or so. He's been catching scrutiny for load management and probably will get more if the Clips dont make the finals
