with as much crap the site gives CP3, he's statistically one of the greatest guards to play the game.
He's one of the best midrange shooters ever.

He's one of the best passers ever.

He's one of the smartest players ever.

He's one of the best defenders of his size.

I don't care how much flack it catches, I have him and Steph as the two most all-around talented players under 6'6" in NBA history (we're calling MJ 6'6" for these purposes). Other guys accomplished more due to their era or team situation but CP3 is the ultimate 6' baller.

Chris is a true point guard. Unfortunately his lack of killer instinct kept him ringless + very unfortunate injuries in bad time. Like the one he had in conference finals.

He would do everything great and then near the finish line some fukk ups would happen. Like when Hornets were best team in the west, they still managed to fukk up few games at the end of regular season, finished 2nd in the west, faced spurs in 2nd round and Chris let Pargo outscore him in 4th quarter of game 7.

Then with the clippers I feel like they were capable of beating any team in the west until warriors got too strong in 2015. Sadly once again injuries and fukk ups in 4th quarter.

He will go down as one of the best players to never win a championship, unless he still plays in the league after his albatross contract is over and gets one ring on his way out like Payton or Kidd did.

I stop listening anytime someone says "killer instinct." CP3 had numerous games he took over late on the offensive end, and there were zero years in his career where he had a healthy squad that you could expect to win a ring.

The truth is that there's a physical limit to what short guys can do in the game. Look at it - 99% of men in the world are under 6'6", yet EVERY baller in the all-time top-ten is 6'6" or taller. No one under 6'6" has won a Finals MVP since TP in 2007 and everyone knows Duncan was really the most important player on that team. It's just almost impossible to enforce your will on the game at that size if your teammates aren't doing a lot.

The Spurs swarmed CP3 and left Pargo open. It's what Pop always does. You think 6'1" CP3 forcing up shots over defensive pressure is a better deal than Paragon going 5-11 on relatively open shots? CP3 played well that series and their four losses were still mostly blowouts.

And the 2012-2014 Clippers were not better than those classic Spurs squads, come on now.

Youre saying this as if it was a given. Those Clippers had more talent and should have been better than the Spurs, they just wasnt because of injuries and coaching. They actually beat the Spurs in their only playoff matchup against them.

100% All of my Hawks' success for rings depends on Reddish development, who we put around Trae and the moves we make.

He literally had one of the greatest rookie seasons of all time. Then had one of the best 2nd years of all players as well. One of the most underrated.
