He does need to learn to pick and choose though, he got trigger happy a little there. That will be his next thing to get better, I know Gentry will get him right

He does need to make quicker decisions, and he can get trigger happy but that’s coming from his increased confidence.

Last year before the clots I think he started to finally realize that nikkas really can’t guard him

Hopefully this will give him the confidence to go out and actually draw some free throws to begin with once the season starts for real. 2 years in the league and he only has 3 games with more than 5 free throws attempted?? Even guys with truly irreparable shots like MKG ain't that allergic to going to the line, man needs to be more aggressive. Especially since his new backcourt partner Jrue doesn't go to the line nearly as often as he should himself.
