Because they need an isolation scorer in the post and that is the one thing LMA can do at a high level...Dame and CJ are having to do so much for this team that that overuse injury for one of them is probably right around the corner...

Because Nurkic leg damn near came off so who even knows what type of player he is...

Both have this year and next year of fully guaranteed money...

Portland really wants to make the playoffs...they need to do something to get back in it...and that something needs to be helping the spurs get rid of an archaic player that stagnates their offense...I mean portland needs to get a good big man who can get his own points and take some of scoring burden off dame and cj...
