They must trading cj then or else wouldn’t make sense.

back in july this was the rumor

The proposed deal would involve the Trail Blazers sending Hassan Whiteside, Kent Bazemore, Skal Labissiere, a 2020 first-round pick, a 2022 first-round pick, and a 2024 first-round pick to the Spurs in exchange for LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMar DeRozan.

:gucci: If Portland does this they dumb. Demar doesn’t like shooting threes and he can’t go off like cj, lma needs to go to a contender I don’t know how much left on his contract though.

You don't need them to tell you anything your eyes can't see, Raptors fans will tell you he doesn't look the same from even last year. Went back and watched the 2014 Finals highlights and 2019 highlights, he's got no lift and he's several steps slower, notably on defense. It's crazy because Spurs needed every bit of 23 year old Kawhi on Bron, dude got his rep from that series. Now that Kawhi's the same age as Bron that season minus a year, 29 year old LeBron abuses this Kawhi if they played.

Just looked at that trade again and OKC has 2022, 2024, and 2026 unprotected Clippers first rounders. PG and Harrell will be your best players by then, shyt's getting a little spooky.

Their going with a win now not later type shyt. Don’t blame them. Win now is always better. People thought the lakers had a great young core but they all gone.

It's always better until it's not and you're assed out lottery picks. I don't think they regret it exactly but I also don't think they knew the issue was this bad, if they did they wouldn't be scrambling, juelzing, and getting fined about the issue.

And I said this at the time of that trade, Lakers traded Ingram and bunch of junk and got a 26 year old HOFer. Since Pels fans turned on Lonzo the first week and Hart's injured, now they and Laker haters have to hope AD leaves. Even though he sat out a year to be a Laker and is following LeBron around Hollywood and movie sets. The Clippers trade was always the more risky one.

They shouldn’t even had them with Steph in em..losing by 50 and shyt with him starting

I mean yeah, but at least with Steph there's a chance that he gets going in a random game & does some crazy shyt.

Only people who give a shyt about a guy like Paschall going off at this point are Warriors fans, he's like a 2K 6 years in randomly generated player to everybody else :yeshrug:

I’ll always rather win now though. Why win later when you don’t know the type of talent is coming in the drafts. Most young cores can’t produce until like year 5. Than you have to hope you can resign them and everything. They had a great team that took the warriors to 6 and than added 1 superstar and an all star. 2 top 10 players. I’ll take that over draft picks any day

Guess what I'm saying is Kawhi's health is just as much a gamble as the picks, if not more. Not arguing whether it should've been done. I understand doing the trade.

With the Lakers, AD's injury prone, but unless something catastrophic happens he's top 6 plus you extend your window. Just reload when LeBron's had enough. The best of both worlds, compete now and later.

Since the trade was really both of them for the picks, they traded for a dude fresh off the operating table while the other one is at the age where he should be in his prime but looks worse than he did 5 years ago and will keep getting worse. Traded the next 6 years to be better than the Lakers for the next two, just to look up to the Lakers in the standings and have your best player on mandatory load management because he can't play the schedule a 35 year old is playing and he's 28.

I know "they pushed the Warriors to 6" but we've got to stop acting like it happened in the conference finals, I blame the media more than anything for the narrative. GS went into the first round in cruise control, got hit in the mouth, KD flipped the light switch, they didn't feel so good after. But everyone loves the underdog, so I get it.
