@Flex Grossman @HHR did torey craig fall out the rotation or is he injured?

If he fell out the rotation might be time for a trade :scheme:
They basically have 12 guys in the rotation, so in any game only 2 of Beasley, Craig, juancho and MPJ will get in. Really are just too deep. I’m assuming Beasley will be gone be the deadline because they can’t pay him. I doubt they’ll move Craig tho even if he’s only being used as a situational player. Malone loves his defense too much.

I still believe yall are intentionally upping Will Barton's trade value, only to ship him out as well by deadline as well. I don't buy for a second that he's the starting SF, that y'all plan take deep into the playoffs.

He’s rehabbed his value more in like 15 games than anyone I’ve ever seen. Went from untradeable because no one would want that contract to damn near untradeable because he’s been so good and he’s such a great fit.

if you would’ve told me before the season we could get value for him at the deadline id say ship him out ASAP, but he’s been incredible.

In regards to their discipline: they have the third-worst foul rate in the league, and their basketball-inflection is built on one of the most volatile players in the league (Pat Bev); we've seen a # of games this season where the Clippers ride Pat's wave of emotion.

In regards to their experience/BBIQ: although PG mitigates some of their issues, they've been getting by on talent on the offensive end, and not necessarily through structure, and through their main rotation, they don't have sustained experience, particularly in the frontcourt, which could be a potential problem against a team like the Lakers who have more experience in the roles they're in.
We're still a work in progress though. Bron and Kawhi have the most experience/deep playoff runs. PG couldn't get past the Heatles but he's got experience. AD hasn't really been in big playoff games and didn't have to deal with the media that LA can bring with his years in N.O. You guys are strong in the frontcourt but on the flipside we're the opposite cause our depth at the wing position is nothing to play with. Yeah we have to deal with your bigs but the Lakers will have to deal with our endless supply of wings and switches on the perimeter

That Luka mvp talk needs to stop.

He’s clearly not elite yet.
Not that I particularly care about the MVP discussion, but please tell me you're not basing this off his performance against the Clippers. If so, we might as well stop the Bron MVP talk too since he didn't perform particularly well against the Clippers.

Giannis is pretty much the only player who's been consistently good this season.

Jamal Murray is making the leap this year. Stats don’t show it, and they might never show it with the way the offense works and how many good players he’s sharing the ball with, but he’s becoming a star. The game is slowing down for him, he’s really seeing and managing everything instead of just relying on talent now. And he clearly took being hunted on defense during the playoffs last year personally. Much much better on that end.

It was inevitable the Clips would get their shyt together and even string one of those 10+ game win streaks at some point, but they're rolling pretty nicely already.

They could have a bad quarter and it doesn't matter bc Kawhi, PG, and Lou can each seamlessly transition from team ball, to carrying the offense load in explosive spurts, to back to team ball.

Lowkey Zubac is a game changer

Tyreke Doncic. He gonna improve but Bagley, Young, Ayton and Bamba will all pass him by. Probably JJJ as well

Philly game was up there as one of the best all around games I’ve seen him play, and he’s had more games like that this year and he had most of last year. really impressive stuff, and it’s going to make his inevitable scoring explosion game all the more impressive when it happens

It's not all one way.

The Lakers' wins this season have been through their size, experience/BBIQ, and discipline - which are the main weaknesses of the Clippers. In a playoff setting, the bench becomes less of a factor, so I wouldn't be putting all this weight behind the Clippers' depth being the deciding factor.
How exactly does a team stop an offense with PG, Kawhi, Lou and Montrezl? If the Clippers can mask Lou and Trezz’s defensive shortcomings I can’t see the Lakers beating them. That offense is too potent.
