How exactly does a team stop an offense with PG, Kawhi, Lou and Montrezl? If the Clippers can mask Lou and Trezz’s defensive shortcomings I can’t see the Lakers beating them. That offense is too potent.
By utilizing their size advantage and forcing them into taking shots outside the paint (the Lakers have the best defensive personnel for this).

The Clippers aren't a great shooting team, so the Lakers should be in the driver's seat in that respect, where they can dominate on the inside on offense v. the Clippers' perimeter-scoring runs. AD's the trump card here; everybody else in this series-matchup can be defended 1v1, somewhat, but there isn't anyone that can defend AD.

The Lakers will also have higher control the more the game slows down, on both ends.

Ppl don’t get a chance to watch Dallas. Luka been Harden-esque since he been in the lead. It’s funny how one gets criticized and the other doesn’t for style of play:mjpls:. Dallas plays just like Houston.
There's definitely some mjpls to it, but it's more to do with the fact that Luka is the new shiny thing, and is in the phase where he's being built up; it won't be long before folks start tearing him down like they do with every player. And you're exactly right, the Mavs do play just like the Rockets, and they'll suffer the same fate if they continue to play the same way.

Better coaching and the league dictates who wins. And luka ain’t getting torn down down. Listen to folk like Doris Burke comment on Luka(she absolutely loves him and everything he does On The court) and then listen to her during a Houston game and she can’t stand Harden. Luka literally does everything exactly like Harden except being a righty. His shooting splits are even similar to harden. Mostly threes and shots at the rims.

the smartest thing Cuban done in the last 5 years was hired Moreys top assistant, who was the steering wheel behind the Direction of picking Luka because he reminded him of harden who he helped get to a Houston. A lot of ppl don’t know that.

This is all very true.

But you could make similar strong arguments for the Clippers

In terms of wing size, wing creators, top tier defenders WITH length, shooters, microwave guys, guys who can get to the line, LAC is a serious problem

Top 3 no doubt
The Clippers if healthy are definitely the most talented team and the favorites. These ninjas have played like 4 games together..... and they already beat the Lakers without George. Ninjas are just going to pretend that didn’t happen because the Lakers have taken advantage of a weak ass schedule .:pachaha:

Don't forget Trez:wow:

I think Zubac even moreso because everyone already knows what you get out of Trez, at the cost of him being undersized...

But 7 foot Zubac be looking like a rim protector and he can play the pick & roll as well as Trez does...

It can make the AD, Dwight, McGee vs Trez, Zubak, Green battle not a complete wash in LAL's favor. But Doc has to play the kid more.

I'll give you size differential but you buggin' with the rest
“Team that’s played together for 5 games is only getting by with talent” @Gil Scott-Heroin :mjlol:

1. I don’t even think that’s accurate. The sets they’re running, especially for George have been great since he came back.

2. In this short stint they’ve beaten the Raptors, Mavs, and Celtics

3. They are in fact the most talented team in the league :dead:. So if they are only going off talent now....

It's important to apply the appropriate context to that comment.

Structurally, the Clippers haven't been all that great on offense; it's simply been Kawhi self-creating and the two-man game with Lou and Trez, which is fine during the regular season where they have a dominion of talent to wash teams out to sea, but not so much against teams that have a proper structure in the halfcourt, in a playoff series, especially with someone like Bron running the show.

Like I said, PG can mitigate some of these issues, but I have my doubts over whether it can be a full circle, particularly when they lack the shooting to bind it all together.
2. In this short stint they’ve beaten the Raptors, Mavs, and Celtics.
You mean the Raptors who were without two of their best players?

:usure:

You mean the Celtics who were without arguably their most important player, and they needed OT to win?

:usure:

You mean the Mavs who're led by a 20-year-old and a squad which is largely made up of a bunch of misfits and castaways?

:usure:
3. They are in fact the most talented team in the league :dead:. So if they are only going off talent now....
PG is their only real playmaker, and in typical Doc Rivers fashion, if he doesn't have a lead-playmaker to do all the work (or a great offensive assistant), his teams usually end up drowning on that end.
