I was apprehensive about the trade for a Brodie but it was worth it. He’s a great change of pace to Harden. Easier and harder to gameplan for Houston. Obviously he isnt the threat on the perimeter like cp3 but he brings something to the table that harden and cp3 don’t in terms of pace and tempo. I don’t even care about the shot selection. Only thing that really bothers me is the turnovers, particularly the unforced ones
Everything rides on Westbrook this year, which is spooky and high risk but high reward as well. We know more or less how everyone else on the team will play in the playoffs... so it comes down to whether Russ can be the '18 CP3 game changer, who can carry the squad when the others are mental midgets.
Only problem is, while he has the durability and motor CP3 didn't, Russ can be a turnover prone dummy himself.
