They had a chance to trade CJ but they didn’t and resigned him instead. That backcourt is just not clicking. CJ is a good second option, but his time ran it’s course in Portland.

It did work with CJ but they were both covered by two good defenders. That was a horrible decision by Oshley to get rid of Aminu and Harkless.

They now need to move on from CJ and upgrade their wing. Feels like they are just going to be stuck as a 7th or below seed for years to come.

Fully healthy and they would still be worse than Lakers/Rockets/Jazz/Clippers imo

Their GM traded away their best defenders at wing. Now you have two guard lineup who are already not that good at defense with 0 defense covering them. The Lillard extension is about to kick in too, they will be stuck in this mediocre spot if they continue to bring this same team out.

If they can trade for good wings without CJ then great but if it takes CJ, I would still make that move.

On one hand, Portland made it to the WCFs... on the other hand, the two best teams (GSW/Hou) were on the same side of the bracket and now GSW got replaced by LAL and LAC... not to mention Utah (also in the GSW/HOU bracket last year) might be even better now.

So when healthy, I'd say Portland as constructed is at best a 2nd round team... and that's assuming they avoid LAL/LAC in the first round and get whatever the most favorable matchup is between fully healthy versions of the Jazz, Mavs, Rockets, Nuggets.

Yo, how long is Nurkic gonna be out? It feels like he's been gone 2 years. Didn't Hayward have the same injury as Nurkic and come back way faster?

He been gone since what, last March or April. I remember watching that game live too. He was balling. Nurk was their 2nd best player last year. His WAR was 10.4. He was legit and a massive lost considering how they play.

they definitely sell them here and on the team shop starting this season.

they are dope I want to get a Ja one soon but I do like our regular uniforms too. The baby blue is better than the dark blue, that’s the weakest one.
