Instead of the passive aggressive Dame approach (which was an utter fail and led to him crawling back to Portland), just sign off on a carefully worded “both sides prefer to make this work but are open to an amicable split that makes sense” joint statement, and leave it at that.

Why don't people criticize jokic for limiting players like they have russ and moreso lebron before him? Seeing all these nuggets players pull out skillsets I never knew they had cause he chasing assist/usage is interesting

because Denver tends to be at their weakest when Jokic is just a bucket and isn't passing.

Because I was told for years jamal Murray can't be a lead guard, mpj is only a spot up shooter, Aaron Gordon is a bum, Payton Watson just some scrub etc. Look at how cam Johnson plays without jokic, versus how he forced play with him.

When Jokic isn’t passing, the ball doesn’t move. In theory that shouldn’t be so crippling because Murray should be a more than capable facilitator but there’s been plenty of times where he shyts the bed and nothing happens.

Cam has less freedom with Denver but he’s there to make the spot up shots MPJ became unreliable at making. Jokic can whip up a triple double in 26 minutes flat. The rest of that time they tend to watch each other.
