Nah that element is still needed for Hip Hop, it's basically one of the original types. Guys like Kool G, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, N.W.A. all influenced guys like Jay, Nas, 50, etc. Without that type of style it would just be all sappy. We need guys showing off their skills on the mic.
basicallyAll these nikkas copying thugger but they haven’t unlocked more than 2 flows![]()
Only problem with your argument is BDK, Rakim & NWA were boring in nobody’s eyes
according to who? He's telling the truth...
Da Baby sounds the same in every single song and apparently he is the best rapper of our generation
i be tellin nikkas, that rap we love is still out there....it’s just not mainstream. that’s my problem with hip hop today. only the mainstream. see what happens when you no longer promote lyricists & being an emcee. hip hop will win in the end because nikkas will wake up one day.
no matter how bad rap gets....nikkas can still beat on a table and freestyle. that will always be there. start all over if you have to. get that love back that’s missing.

He’s right but he isn’t doing creative.
His best songs are usually heavily sampled or diet Drake/Travis tracks.

He’s not even a historian. Dude’s breakout song was“Say It” and he never even heard the original Brownstone song he sampled. He's not wrong. Most people aren't historians nor heads like us to dig. So it appears everybody copying one or two sounds. I havent been excited by the xxl freshman magazine cover in years.
He not lying
This was one of the worst years in rap this decade easily. I'm not a fan of Tory Lanez, but I don't understand why people are shytting on him for saying something that's obviously true....
