Breez is a LEGEND but he's been on the losing end of a few battles

True, I mentioned it moreso because of the fire & hunger that Agallah came with that day. Breez was battling other dudes, and this manic mangy looking mofo just popped up out of nowhere and started coming at everyone.

I tell my people don't fall in love with the game or the art, they look at me funny like im a suit lol but in my opinion, being in love with anyone or anything is an L

If you think you entitled to success because you are talented, you gonna be in for a real shock. Its that real.

agallahfaroI was overlooked by these dudes.flex said he would play my music and never did. Frank jugga just over looked me as well.these dudes control the airwaves and clubs in ny and if you aint paying them you wont see the light of day with your music.like i said i was famous before the net.i put too much work in to be overlooked by dudes who wanna get paid to play your record.kap is the only one who showed me true love.i used to have love for flex but he acts as if i didnt even exist.that shyt hurt me showed me a lot of people in this game is fake and when a dj tell you he got you and dont play your shyt just is fukked up :francis:

I hate when rappers don't realize that the only problem with their career is in the mirror.
That's the big difference with sports like basketball and rapping, there's no #s measuring if you are nice or not so everyone thinks that they are nice and deserve better :camby: .

Major stations rarely play shyt that isn't popping already, and if they do it's by someone who is poppin in the streets. Is this strictly an NY thing? I rarely hear rappers feeling so entitled outside of NY, it's like they have troubles doing something as simple as checking how all the other rappers got on. :snoop:

Money, hits, connections and/or a unique style might get you somewhere, if you lack all 4 as in his case :francis: good riddance.

Sometimes all you need is a change of branding and management, and most importantly a following. Make fans spread your music, but before that you gotta put things into place. Not everyone's as lucky as a Keef or a Drake. You can't be spoonfed success. You gotta start a youtube channel, format your titles correctly, do interviews, sometimes even change your stage name, gotta make sure that mixtape cover is appealing, change the fukking font, etc. So much shyt involved, a lot of it simply superficial or trivial. Sometime you got a start a random beef to get noticed. :shaq2:

God bless him. Most of you guys don't understand, and that's okay. But I remember seeing a crack-ish looking young latino demon tear heads off at Rocksteady Park 20+ years ago. The legendary freestyle battle MC Breez Evaflowin' kinda caught that work from Agallah that day. I shared a laugh with Breez about it a few years back.

Agallah never seemed to recover from the Ghetto Girl thing. That wasn't him. And his pen hasn't evolved much, but the musical talent is still there. Even if you don't care much for his rapping, a lot of his beats are undeniable.
It's just sad, because this type of thing only seems to happen with hip-hop/rap. If he were gifted in any other art he would be a lot more comfortable now, or at least better appreciated. But rap is very trendy, so like @Exit 9 just said, he may very well may feel like he wasted his whole life. That's not funny at all.

I can't agree with that. There are few bands that make it big, most of them never leave the garage or bar. But those that do, they can keep touring forever, but that's a small group. With singers, if you don't have the right look you won't make it either.

Rap is actually fairly easier compared to other genres to break into. You can always beef with an established act to get noticed. You can follow trends, and try lottery-ticket your way to fame, and so forth. You won't have as much longevity, but you can start a career.
