INVADING SOHH CHAMPION
Gucci's always been wack to me. I never paid that dude any attention.
You have to know the technical skills of emcee'n early on to know how talented Gucci is.
Gucci was writing circles around dudes, content and depthwise in his region, and in gangsta rap. It was just the sonic clarity was on the low quality side.
Yet, if you really listen to rap historically.
You should have no issue with sitting through it for music made in that time period.
He was the only dude to take the technical proficiency of project pat skillwise.
Then actually expand on it, where it was a welcome addition to the biter rich southern states. where biting triple six is viewed as legal by most southern standards music wise, somehow.
Listen to:
Swing my door
Hold that thought
Stick'em up : real talk, this is like the much better more in depth content and technical upgraded southern mishmash version of I know what girls like, and most of the great robbery songs from nobody move, on. Gucci's third verse on this is one of the most advanced technical skill dope dealer rhymes in southern history.
Money on the floor
Hold that thought
745
trap house : makes check my crack house better
When people started to finally check for him on no pad, no pencil.
Is when he dumb down, but you really can not say it was dumbed down.
As he was really not writing verses and ramped up his clarity and found his consumer niche, technical skill wise.
I prefer his older advanced technical stuff,...
Yet, I still listen to his new stuff.

...Jeezy wordplay always been great just that mentally challenged flow that gave his bars character didn't allow people to look at him as anything other than "simple"....but I always say lowkey he ripped 101,u don't just make one of the most quotable albums of all time by mistake if there's nothing lyrically legetimate behind it.
