The first two big arcs were AMAZING, the Lee/Gaara fight is a top 10 modern anime fight, and Naruto’s character progression at the time was fun. But then the wheels fell off. It’d be rated higher if damn near 50% of its run wasn’t filler and they kept what they were doing instead of becoming Ninja Ball Z.

9, woulda been 10 if Rock Lee and the killer bees were the main characters
