Yea her music fell off after 3 albums. She had a good run but not good enough for me to put her higher than 7. Plus outta all the hits she had only one can really be considered timeless. Maybe 2

Her 3rd album wasn't really that great to me either. Her 1st 2 are her prime. The debut being her best overall to me.

Damn you right.... The only song I know of hers is her cover of If Only You knew and that's Patti's song. Also her work with Avant.... Shyt she getta 8 for having no significant album success.

Right. Not someone that'll blow you away. She's just been fortunate enough to have some great songs throughout her career.
Vocally, she's about on the same level as Alicia, Aaliyah, etc... Just above average.

You show me a clip where you think Monica is really blowing and I'll show you a clip of Aaliyah doing the same thing skill wise.

Monica doesn't have a voice that'll blow you away. She's just a good singer. She doesn't wow you with great runs or vocal techniques. Just very bland. She stays in her lane and never tries to venture outside her comfort zone. The fact that someone even tried to compare her to Brandy is absolutely absurd.

I've watched Monica BOMB twice on live tv tryna do songs that weren't hers and I remember social media eating her alive.
