Rate This Singer - Female Edition - Day 7 - Adele

I think Adele is a solid 6 or a 5. Just an okay singer. She has a unique voice which gives her some points and she absolutely can body a ballad. But thats about it. No diversity. Technically she's a proven singer though. Her vocals are very good. A mild tone and great strength and power. I applaud her because she can really belt out notes from her diaphragm with ease.

She is very overrated though. Being a white girl with a nice voice has garnered her an innumerable amount of accolades that even other HoF black vocalist haven't seen. Shameful. Her albums outside of the singles are forgettable. But she has that industry machine and the whole of the UK backing her so

She has a unique and rich vocal timbre, which makes her sound like she’s actually a skilled singer.

She can sing really well for a white woman. but people tend to overrate since they have such a low bar for white singers. She basically sounds as good as your average popular r&b singers like Monica or Ciara. but she gets treated like Aretha Franklin because she doing it as a white woman. whereas Ciara is like a dime a dozen among black woman.

I'd give her a 7 pretty good.
