She can sing but she literally has like 2 songs, cuzz her albums be putting me to sleep

She can sing really well for a white woman. but people tend to overrate since they have such a low bar for white singers. She basically sounds as good as your average popular r&b singers like Monica or Ciara. but she gets treated like Aretha Franklin because she doing it as a white woman. whereas Ciara is like a dime a dozen among black woman.

I'd give her a 7 pretty good.

Christina Aguilera can blow though

yeah.. I have to give credit to Christina and that other singer from back then, JoJo - They were the most tolerable out of all those white "Disney club" type singers.

I give her a 7/8 on vocals but still think she overrated. When that 21 album came out...people were acting like she on some other shyt when u got other white singers who are on her level or even higher and they got stage presence like Christina Aguilera and Jesse J.

Oh and what really got me was when she was requested to host the Superbowl one year and even Adele herself rejected and said she is a horrible choice. I was like WTF....who wanna see her standing there just singing with no stage presence or moving around and engaging crowd.

This and a few other songs off her first CD are the only ones I like from her. I stopped listening to her after that album, I just didn't like any of her shyt anymore. I rate her a 5 or 6. Not very impressed, she's okay.

A 7. Her voice is distinct enough, but lacks range and sounds like it almost gives out every now and then. I do feel musically her stuff is just carbon copies of other, and that power ballads are pretty much the only thing she is good for. For example, Hello. Basically it all sounds the same. I really wavered between a 6 and a 7 but she can sing live at least.
