He also said in another thread Ginobili was never a top slasher/finisher and could never do anything that Stephen Jackson couldn't do. :dead:

Prime Ginobili was a good distance shooter, had a mid-range game, and was a premier slasher/penetrator...and could facilitate and could rebound pretty well for a 2 guard.

:russ:@this dude claiming all these one dimensional jumpshooters were better.

:what: a whole whoppin' 1 more each. If we're gonna use that argument, he has damn near as many turnovers, in less minutes, and worser percentages in less minutes on less shots. We're seriously gonna compare a career bench player to a +26,000 career point scorer???

yep:jawalrus:

if you wanna glorify the career of a one-dimensional player off of some made-for-tv, magical moments, go right ahead. manu was a better playmaker and rebounder and just as good a scorer as reggie.

U forgot better defender. I'm not denying that, my point, is that Ginobili's HOF case over Miller is predicated solely on the fact that he's a bench player that just so happened to be drafted to the championship and elite-level scouting and player-development organization that is the San Antonio Spurs of Texas, and that there are players with no chance in hell @ the Hall, that have better numbers, bein' an All-Star when Jamaal Magloire and Theo Ratliff are All-Stars, and makin' All-NBA teams when people like Peja Stojakovic, Eddie Jones, and Jamal Mashburn have made them :why:
