aging better isnt the term i would go with.

what i would say is that it reasonates better with people who got into hip-hop after the mid-90s.

besides, these albums werent recorded in the same era anyway, like dude said on the 1st page.

Jay was so good on this album, it's a shame in a way he dumbed down for dollars despite the success it brought him. Love this album.

Probably enjoy listening to RD more than Illmatic to be honest. Such a shame Jay's standards dropped, LOVED what he did on this album.
