The running back by committee thing isn't looking too good

Def don't feel confident about graham harrells progression

Our back up o line is booty butt cheeks lol

That desmond bishop injury highlights what I have been telling packer fans for years. U have to believe that one main starter will be injured every year. It keeps u from being overly optimistic. You can't go into every game with the "we're fine" mentality.

^^Graham Harrell is the least of my worries...If Rodgers ever gets hurt and is out,we're done for no matter what.

All i care about now is Sherrod coming back, RB's getting their shyt together and Bishop being good to go

Starks regressing is the problem. Too soon for Alex Green... and Saine is a great receiving back and a speedster but he can't run in between the tackles

We hated on Ryan Grant a lot but atleast you know he would get 1100 yards if he got 250 carries.

It's official, Benson is signed. Starks has turf toe. It feels like half our team is hurt right now. :smh:

Looks like Bishop is gonna be out for the year. :sadbron: All I've seen is "hamstring that requires surgery". Nothing else, so you gotta figure it's a torn hammy. We're already down our best player on D last year. :sadcam:

DJ Smith was good last year in his spots though, and looked good in his duties against SD. Such a horrible start to the year though for us. Thank God we're just finishing the first week of pre-season games.

Reminds of 2010... when it rains, it pours :sadbron:

But that means we can play in February again :smugfavre:

Breh's I don't understand for the life of me why tt let go our pro bowl center to sign old ass Saturday :why:.

Does he not remember arod first 2 seasons setting sack records. Arod is an elite qb the last thing he should have to worry about is protection smh.

The look at our rb come on man Starks is cool but he is not a fukking franchise rb.

Packers are successful when we have a legit running game. We went from dorsey to Arman to grant.

Every year we been steady in that department except for the last 2 due to grants injury.

Saine is a cool backup but tt blew me by not addressing these 2 issues.

I'm legit worried breh's.

I'm excited about drafting perry hopefully no more doubles on clay so he can go to work again.

Wells got more than TT wanted to spend and he also is a bit undersized. Saturday is old but he got size and strength on Wells. The interior line play has actually been pretty good in camp... its the LT position where we are still waiting on Sherrod and Newhouse to recover. We got a 7th round pick playing there right now :snoop:

And yeah, TT hasn't addressed the RB position for years. Grant was solid but we haven't had a game changer there since 2004 when Ahman was in his prime.

The bright side is, we have Rodgers and a load of WRs/TEs to use and the short passing game. But yeah, I honestly am more concerned with the offense. I think the defense has nowhere to go but back up in the rankings..even with the inexperienced guys in the secondary stepping in

Saturday will be fine. And as far as a running game: in case you haven't noticed, the NFL has turned into a passing league, and our team has embraced that transition beautifully. The only reason for a running game for us is to keep it in the back of a defenses mind.

We basically had no running game to speak of last year, and look what it got us (15-1...most explosive and efficient offense in the NFL). Same thing in 2010. We're gonna win or lose on the strength of Rodgers' arm and our deep ass receiving corps.

I liked Grant, but I've seen a few remarks on twitter of scouts saying Benson has superior vision and footwork to Grant (the vision should be a no brainer...I probably have better vision that Grant), and he's obviously more effective in short yardage situations. Also seen some concerns about him in the locker room, but with the leadership we have here, I highly doubt that will be a concern. There's still no guarantee that he'll make the final roster, but he's worth a gamble I guess.

:comeon:

Yea look where no running game got out us embrassed and bounced out of the playoffs.

I understand the wr's and Te dropped a bunch of balls but we would have still lost that game.

Like I said we have always had legit) breh's the fact we signed benson maybe a Blessing cause dude is a beast.

I'm just worried about this oline.

I really have high hopes for clay man I think perry doing his thing will free him up to do work.

honestly, thats what got to me about the ryan grant hate

I knew he was a soft runner aka he went down on the first hit every time

but AT LEAST you knew you could count on him over the stretch of 16games

realistically, did anybody but starks out play grant??? nah...not really...

right now we have a rb who missed all last year on IR, a running back thats only good on screens, and a running back who hasn't played 8 consecutive games

and we just signed a RB that looks to be in decline. But apparently he has better vision than Grant, but Grant is much more sure handed... Benson had like 7 fumbles year before last and 5 last year. Grant almost never fumbles.

But it is what it is. We just need one of these cats to provide a little bit to keep a defense honest and make defenses pay for playing just coverage on us

We signed T.J. Lang to a 4 year extension. Good shyt.

Also heard last week that we've been talking with Jennings' people about an extension. Once we get that done (and it BETTER get done), all eyes will be on #12.
