By no one he means people who go outside

Thanks for speaking on his behalf.

That's an interesting point. My first reaction was :damn: "You're going too far", but now that I think about it, what Redman track makes your typical hip hop playlist?

For example, Method Man has "Bring The Pain". It's not my all-time favorite Method Man song but most hip hop casuals know that song and it's one of the best in Mef's catalogue (it's important to note this. Just because your track is known by casuals doesn't mean it's worth talking about).

What's Redman's track? "I'll Bee Dat?" Time 4 Some Aksion? Pick It Up? All great tracks, but not really genre-defining.

If Bring the Pain is recognisable, surely Tonite's Da Night qualifies?

And I don't think that's an important factor but yeah...

Redman generally has enough mainstream recognition to not be deemed a hipster or edgy pick for GOAT.

I loved his point about DOOM, Vanilla Ice, and the relevance of sales.
:ehh:

Nice how Redman has DOOMs critical acclaim with Vanilla Ice type sales relevancy (not the same level of course). Best of both worlds, even tho sales never matter to me personally.

I LOVE that song, and I can't believe I forgot to mention it, but it may not be up there with Bring Da Pain. Great suggestion though. One of Red's most recognizable songs.

Hmm i don't listen to A LOT of individual Redman songs but there Some I really love (Blow Your Mind, Bobyahed2dis). He does have great albums tho I guess I prefer full albums over individual songs in Redman's case.
