NINER EMPIRE

The Niners are getting pressure without blitzing. If they can keep the pressure on Rodgers, that'll be huge in helping the Niners control the game. In week 3, however, Rodgers was getting the ball out quick early. They'll probably do this again, so it'll be IMPERATIVE for the Niners to get Green Bay into 3rd and longs.

For context, these are the Niners last 6 opponents:

Bengals
Falcons
Titans
Texans
Rams
Cowboys

I don't want to toot the Packers horns but Rodgers only being sacked 30 times with an OL being so ravaged by injuries is crazy.

The frozen tundra at Lambeau also helps. We're not on a fast track. The Rams DL got gassed back in November.

Don't forget, we've had Yosh Njiman, an undrafted guy, playing LT and we were giving him a lot of help. And for most of the season we've been playing with 3 or 4 BACKUPs on the OL. Jenkins is out.

Thankfully we have Bakhtiari back, Myers back at C and Turner back at RT. Patrick who's been playing C is now going to RG. Dennis Kelly was playing RT and he's a big ass man.

If LaFleur is calling quick plays ala the way Shanny does with your offense, Niners may only get home a couple of times like the September game.

Packes have fared very well to a bunch of top pass rushing teams. I was very surprised how well they played this year so far.

We didn't blew the Week 3 game, we almost stole it and couldn't hang on :pachaha: we got outplayed 70% of the game but GB could never put it away and we got two good drives in the 4th that put us in front by 1 point.

It doesn't matter though, Saturday is gonna be completely different. Our run defense is different and our run offense is different. No clue how much the Packers have changed but between the weather and us finding our identity on both sides of the field during the 2nd half of the season will make this a different type of game.

You not staying on code breh:francis:

Bosa still needs to clear protocols but Kyle said things are "looking good" so far.

Fred is playing and it seems so will Ambry Thomas and god I hope so because Josh Norman cannot see the field, that dude is a bum and a 2TD handicap for the Niners :scust:

Yeah, what annoyed me most from the Week 3 game is that not only we could be barely do anything against those quick passes but even after all of that, we still ended up with the lead. And when y'all finally had to go with longer developing plays (the last drive) the pass rush was none-existent.

Now, our pass rush is waaay better than in Week 3 but it might not matter if y'all offense finds it enough to just dink and dunk like the late era Brady Patriots.

My guess is that DeMeco will continue to bet on "bend but don't break" and try to limit the damage in the first half. We'll see if it works...
