Stop it slime. Kenyon was NEVER the same after his micro fractures.

Oh this is true. But he still found a niche where he could use his Basketball IQ and athleticism and still be effective......That's all cuz was saying...Out of all the cats that were named, his career lasted the longest......

I don't think people remember they type of game Kenyon had before his first major injury

to be fair this is on the texans medical staff 100%

they took out his cartridge (bradon roy surgery) instead of repairing it and letting him sit out the year. they were so obsessed with getting him on the field they ruined and ended his career

guess what, they took out his cartridge and now he has none which lead to the microfracture surgery

clowney should sue them

Holy shyt...I didn't know all of that......:wow:

Damn it's going to suck if Clowney can't come back to the level he was once at. He was bound to be an All Pro player and the Texans should be kicking themselves if they are the cause of him having to undergo microfracture surgery. Him and Watt have (had?) a chance to be the most destructive forces on a d-line together ever. Here's hoping to Clowney beating the odds and coming back and still being a dominant player.

He's going to have to get much stronger upper body wise. They can hide him with Watt/a top tier DT but playing him at OLB full time isn't going to work if that speed is gone.

Nikkas quick to act like they Mr. Know It All like Clowney wasn't a LOCK to go #1 the moment he ran a 4.49 unofficial 40 time at the combine.

Pretty sad to see some of the posts in here.

Stoudemire had his best years after the surgery

His best year was his 3rd year....the year before microfracture...he was only 22 averaging 26 & 9 on 56% shooting.

Physically, he wasn't the same after microfracture. His athleticism as a PF before the microfracture was phenomenal. After the procedure, his athleticism dropped from phenomenal, down to just "very good".

It's a testament to how much of a beast he was to still put up the numbers he did post-microfracture.

I have no doubt in my mind, had Amare stayed healthy, developing at the rate he was developing at, he would've been a 30ppg player at some point in his career.

Never seen a combo of speed, power, and finesse like that.

He was like a combination of Blake Griffin, James Worthy, Shawn Kemp, and Antonio Mcdyess--With the first step of an elite SG.

His relentlessness/aggression when attacking the basket was maniacal

Go to 5:07...Thats after he had he microfracture-- playing against some of the best big man prospects in the country

The quality is shytty on this one, but Amare did Yao Ming and the Rocket so dirty, it made :francis: really go :francis:

The quickness, the ferociousness:wow:....I was ready to stan faithfully

Any PF he had out in space was a mismatch
