Honestly all the shyt about Lavar ball being a distraction and a nuisance is overblown.

At the end of the day all Lavar is doing is running his mouth. Way bigger shyt than a big mouth parent has circled around NBA prospects and not affected them or the teams they were drafted by.

Revisionist history here. Nobody had any idea where Thon Maker would be drafted. Lot of mock drafts had him either in the 20's or even in the Second round. People were weary about the age controversy and competition he played against. Thankfully for the Bucks it worked out, however you're forgetting how much of a shock it was that he was drafted 10th overall.

Lonzo is not talented enough to play with Simmons or embiid in the starting lineup and Simmons is a superior pg and everything to Tobey bailey one two three.

I often wonder why people don't do this more

Draft who you know a team wants. Then trade for their pick and another player

I'm sure if ainge took ball, they could definitely get the 2nd or 3rd pick and another player for him

I'm just saying if a team like Phoenix, Sacramento, or 76ers are desperate for a player at 2 then I wouldn't mind if the Lakers could get them to tack on a future 1st rounder or something and trade down a few slots. I think between the top 4-5 that I'm happy with whoever they draft so why not try and get an extra asset. But nah I don't want Ingram or Russell to go anywhere.
