Stafford is getting in

He will eventually sure. Stafford is my guy but technically Sherman is right. A lot of times the floor for most guys who get into the HOF is having three 1st Team All-Pros. Or an MVP and some mixture of 1st and 2nd Team All-Pros. He doesn't have any of that shyt. It certainly seems like he's a front runner for MVP this year, and the Rams seemed poised to go on a playoff run (healthiest contending NFC team right now).

Eli is gonna get in eventually too and he has a worse resume. If you have the right look or story, you can get in as a QB. I assume that Stafford is gonna become a high profile broadcaster during NFL games on CBS, NBC, ABC, or Netflix at some point in the coming years. That visibility and name ID is gonna help him get in. Not immediately, but he will get in whether we like it or not. If he wins MVP this year and gets his first 1st Team All Pro then sure, the resume goes way up. But if not? He's still gonna get put in there lol.

Starfford will get in on total career numbers, consistency and as a cherry on top he lead the team to a SB win although he wasn't an all-pro QB he dropped mad yards and TDs not on some Manning on Broncos shyt.

Usually the ones with crazy all-time numbers and stuff like that also have a lot of all-pros, but in rare cases they don't. What you gonna do then? Hard criteria is for robots.If you are forced to use your brain instead of just counting accolades, you might arrive at a different conclusion. This becomes very clear when you compare the # of all-pros various players have like Ochocinho having more than Larry Fitzgerald. And naturally, many of those accolades are based on you playing for the right team.

If Stafford wins another SB then he kind of has a case. As of right now he’s not a Hall of Famer. Russ for damn sure isn’t making it

If both of them do make it Phillip Rivers for damn sure better make it before both and I don’t even think he’s worthy

People forget that longevity and consistency matters as well. And then you can add that, by structure of the game, there’s just not a lot of elite QBs with long careers. Not now not historically. Damn near all of them are famous and can be named by casuals. Unlike other positions where you get elite players coming through in every draft

Rules have made it easier to play longer as a QB as well by design.

Crazy how Stafford has gotten noticeably better with age too. Always had the retard arm and was #1 pick for a reason. Getting with McVay took him to another level.
