Detroit had an elite defense every year?Calvin and number 1 D= garbage?
Calvin is the only name that gets brought up in a decade of Lions football, so yes, garbage.

This assumes durability every single year and that any of the other QBs (Stroud, Lawrence, Herbert, Tua, Maye) will almost have none.
MAHOMES HAS 6
LAMAR HAS 4
ALLEN HAS 3
BURROW HAS 2
THEYLL ALL HAVE
ATLEAST 7 WHEN ITS
ALL SAID AND DONE
ROMO WAS BETTER THAN
STAFFORD AND ELI.
HE WONT BE SNIFFING
THE HOF AND NEITHER SHOULD THEY
PRO FOOTBALL HOF
WAS ALWAYS ABOUT THE BEST
OF THE BEST
AND WAS NEVER BASED ON IF YOU WON A SB

And his last name. There were certainly better QB’s than Eli when he was playing. I would take Stafford over him.
With that being said, I think he gets in because of the two Super Bowl Championships and being in the New York market. I just think that’s how it plays out.

Team success also plays a role and these QBs aren't winning 11+ games every year. It may not seems like it now but one day Pat will lead an old and/or injured Chiefs team to a 8/9 win season. Same for Lamar and others.
The AFC is too QB rich for a bunch of them to rack up 7+ Pro bowls. Mahomes is guaranteed that number, Lamar is likely. The rest are in question.

My nikka
ROMO WAS BETTER THAN
STAFFORD AND ELI.

And Mahomes won 15 games and still didn't make it. So again, nobody in the AFC is guaranteed 7 Pro Bowls other than him and likely Lamar.
BURROW WON 9 GAMES,
MISSED THE PLAYOFFS
AND MADE THE PRO BOWL THIS SEASON
SO NO THEY WONT HAVE TO WIN
11+ GMS EVERY YEAR.
Well for starters a HOF QB and WR shouldn't need an elite D to win one playoff game at some point in almost a decade together.Detroit had an elite defense every year?

History aint got nothing to do with right now. Same historically inept franchise was in the NFC chip game last year.
They would have a playoff win if the offense didn't take the 2nd half off. Or maybe if he wasnt throwing oops to 6'10 nikkas when WR were wide open in a winnable game in GB in which Rodgers got hurt and had to leave for some time and they win the division and host a playoff game rather than going to Dallas.
Lions were no better for having him and did all they could to help him out...3 TE in the first rd in a decade.
I didnt say they did for the entire tenure. But the point is they weren't historically bad his whole time there. There were chances and he didnt deliver. What HOF QB goes to a bad team (thats where top picks usually go) for a decade and makes 0 difference? Lions got plenty of 7-9 and 9-7 and making the playoffs and going 0 fer seasons in their history...with decent to average or even worse QBs. So why aint the HOFer fair any better?

Read to comprehend not to respond brotherThat MF was there 11 years and you hyping up that he had 4 winning seasons lol.
A lot of teams that should win don't necessarily win. That's what makes the NFL playoffs what it is. Again you can't name anybody worth a damn outside of Calvin and you're using 1 game to talk about 11 years. While also ignoring that the team they lost too was a 12-win Dallas team.Well for starters a HOF QB and WR shouldn't need an elite D to win one playoff game at some point in almost a decade together.
Alright then. Individual seasons added as another factor. Which means that the team wins you chose to harp on while ignoring everything else I listed doesn't guarantee anything.
MAHOMES DIDNT HAVE
A GREAT INDIVIDUAL SEASON.
I WAS POINTING OUT THAT
11+ WINS WASNT A NEEDED FACTOR
THEN YOU CONFIRMED IT
BY POINTING OUT MAHOMES
WON 15 GAMES.
THANKS

They don't have to be historically bad for his entire tenure, it's the fact that they're a historically poorly-ran team and the difference that Stafford was able to make stands out, regardless of how mediocre it may be in a vacuum.

Like stats.
Or health.
Or stats/success of the 8-10 other talented QBs in the same conference.
You're welcome.
