Mike stayed and did it there, he would never have left he had too much pride to go and join Charles Barkley and Ewing JUST to win a title

and that is the main reason that LBJ could would 15 titles and will never compare to Jordan because he had to run away from the cavs to do it, instead of staying loyal and getting it done with his hometown

Ring chasing at 25 years old? What part of the game is that?:what:

The heat won and that's great, but when 3 franchise players join up together are we really surprised that they won?

What Lebron did would be like Jordan joining the lakers before the 90-91 season with a top 5 player(magic/wade) and then adding a top 15 player(Barkley/bosh).

Or if Shaq joined the Lakers in 02' with a top 5 player in Kobe(Wade) and another top 12-15 player in Dirk(Bosh)

This shyt is unprecedented

LeBron was smart enough to realize that leaving your career in the hands of morons is not smart.

nikkas wanted Bron to stay in Cleveland with Mo Williams and rot while every other contender in the league has multiple legit star players

But Lebron is playing in a much tougher era defensively and has more competition at the Wings. Zone defense is legal now and defenses are on a whole more advanced now then ever before.

And let's be real, the Thunder would sweep the 97-98 Jazz

First off NBA teams dont even run zone that often secondly Mike would eat a zone for fvking breakfast kid! When did you start watching ball? You do know the zone was implemented in 2001 right? 2001 Mike dropped 50 when he was 38 years old and had 2-3 40 point games after he turned 40

Karl Malone would make Ibaka and Perkins his b!tch! Plus the Jazz would pick and roll the sh!t out the thunder. I dont know if they would beat em or not but they sure has hell wouldnt get swept.

So I guess that means you believe that the Thunder are better than the 98 Bulls then?

The first time LeBron played with a player with Pippen level talent he went to the finals and won the championship the next year.

seriously i know people always want to compare eras, i lived through the 80s and 90s and 00s and thus far (hopefully haha) the 10s...

the chicago bulls absolutely shut shyt down, so many hall of famers never got a title because of one man, Michael "Air" Jordan

basketball is a joke nowadays compared to the 80s/90s, like the above poster said, zone + how soft the players are + most cant shoot for shyt

those 97-98 utah jazz would beat any team nowadays

You guys are truely doing a disservice to 90s basketball or just honestly maybe didn't live through it so you can't appreciate it

Jordan humiliated fools, went to play baseball for 2yrs and shortly after coming back drops a double nickel on the Knicks, the man was a freak of nature

Go watch the dream team documentary to get just a glimpse of his competitiveness and his perfection of his craft

40 year old mike chucking and getting hot for a few games on the wizards doesn't mean he'd "dominate" this era fukk outta here.

He got to play a lot of one on one ISO ball against undersized unatheltic defenders. The zone defense basically stopped Lebron in the finals, every single time the Mavs went to it, Lebron was just non existent.

Member game 6 when he came out HOT?( I think made like 3-5 baskets Ina row) what happened literally the minute the Mavs switched to Zone? He was finished
I mean look at this defense

[ame=http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iwNeMkuwIRQ]YouTube - Michael Jordan 45pts vs Utah Jazz 1998 NBA Finals Game 6 *Last Bulls Game[/ame]

And then look at THIS defense

[ame=http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nepmd2ygMK4]YouTube - 2008 NBA FINALS: Kobe Bryant vs. Boston Celtics Zone Defense[/ame]

It's night and day. Mike was lucky to play in the era he played in

And lol at the 97-98 jazz. The only reason they got to the finals is all the teams that used to son them in the early 90's or were just flat out better either got old or just plain fell off

Rockets
Spurs
Suns
Sonics

Etc. they were the only ones left. Stockton wasn't even a franchise player anymore

Lol at Flabby and sick John stockton guarding Russell Westbrook with no some defense

"Trash" doesn't lead the league in wins 2 years in a row I'm sorry. Or are you going to tell me Lebron won 66 games by himself(and then when talking about how they Lost, say "well teams win games, not individuals":stopitslime:)

You can't have it both ways

Trash is the 30 and 40 win Wolves teams that KG was on from 05-07.

The Cavs coulda won a title in 10' if Lebron didn't quit from game 4-6 against Boston

21.3 ppg, 34% FG, 46.9% TS:mjpls:

Sure they do just look at em when Bron left them niqqas won like 45 less games. Players win games, teams win chapionships! Its not that hard of a concept to get, is it?

So Lebron quit on a team he could have won a title on? Please explain how that makes any sense? Why not just win the title and ride off into the sunset? Why purposfuly lose a game and throw away a title? He would still have been a free agent and he would have made himself into a deity in ohio.

First off it wasn't the same Cavs team due to injuries and People leaving

Secondly, Lebron quit because if they beat the celtics or won the chip he couldn't leave to go to Miami like he planned From the 08' Olympics with wade and bosh.

They were up 2-1, but once he saw there was a chance they could win, he tanked and said fukk it. Them losing one las time gave him the built in excuse to go to Miami like they all planed

It worked out, but let's be real

you should be a comedian

i love your re-write of history

Lebron quit because he was an insecure pouting athlete who was mad that a player was fukkin' his mom, among other things, plus THAT lebron had no killer instinct, something he gained this year.. plus he stopped living on the 3 point line and has started being more aggressive and driving to the basket

I think the thunder could beat the bulls in 7 maybe 6. It's all about matchups the Jazz just couldn't guard these young athletic nikkaz and they damn sure couldn't keep pace with them offensively.(stockton was AWFUL offensively at that point) The Bulls were an old team, that benefited playing the Jazz. And yes I think a healthy heat could beat the 98' bulls.
