on the first one i had whole tracks I didn't like that 2-3 months later became some of my favorite tracks... Pig knuckles is the perfect example. Used to hate it now its a go anytime, anywhere....

Roc got them slow burners man...sometimes a track will sound weird to me...then later its the hardest shyt ever.....i used to HATE the song he did with Freeway and out of nowhere that shyt gets me hype any time it comes on

Lyrically, Roc really is at the top of his game. It's hard to see how he could get much better. It's going to take a while for all these lines on the new record to sink in.

Production wise, this is better than RR1, but there are still some beats that seem too loud compared to the vocals or just aren't that great. At this point, those guys doin beats for Griselda/Mach Hommy/Tha God Fahim etc have surpassed Roc on the whole no drums/minimalist lane.

Ehhh Reloaded was his magnum opus..i still choose The Pimpire Strikes Back over this one..the lyrics are still uncanny but he just fell into this too laid back beat groove...save that for Ross an shyt...i fukks wit Tent City tho but wit all his projects he still hasnt matched the intensity of Hoard 90 imo....

Same. I feel as if since reloaded, his work keeps going downhill from the last project but it's still not whack. It's just not on reloaded level.
