Well not only is it far fetched but also Rodgers and Wilson were drafted as luxuries. Rodgers fell in their lap and sat, and Seahawks had just paid Flynn. They probably drafted ‘smarter’ bc they didn’t ’need n them. Broncos desperate they bout to take a QB with a 2ns round grade at 14 :heh:

Bc 1- they can’t spend more picks to move up, 2- the qb board doesn’t even work like that there’s rarely anyone just sitting there. If he is, it’s for a reason. 3- They have a blinking red light ‘we need a QB’ so teams are likely to jump them if a guy is worth it. It’s just a comically bad, pretty unprecedented situation.

Well which is it, him as a QB or his money? The money is a sunk cost that’s irrelevant. If it’s his play, make it work. Now more than ever QBs are showing they can be schemed up. Goff, Geno, Minshew. ATP im pretty sure I could throw for an efficient 250 in Shane Steichen offense. So ok, find a Shane Steichen.

That’s the real solution if they didn’t commit to a bytch like Payton. NOT to throw away an above average QB looking for a great one —with the 17th pick in the draft.

The money is relevant to the topic of discussion considering that's the reason why they're benching him in the first place to prevent it from being fully guaranteed moving forward.

Posters can't on one hand shyt on teams for overpaying for QBs, then complain that they try to rid themselves out of it.

Facts. The money is everything.

The money he's going to want is going to price him out of most teams that NEED a QB.

No young rebuilding team is going to pay a 35 year old QB 40-45 mil a year

So that leaves you with teams who think they are a mid QB away from winning. How many teams is this honestly? Raiders, Vikings, Steelers, Falcons, Bucs...I cant think of any more. This list is small.

If he's cut after June 1, usually teams have blown their cap space at that point. Its going to be tricky
