Real talk, we have yet to feel the true reverberations of Obama's legacy. We're still inside of his legacy (his number 2 is now president).

When Obama's legacy gets into full swing in the next decade or so, I think a lot of things will look different.

We're in a current backlash from a black man being elected president. The US is reeling and trying to turn into a full blown dictatorship. The next year or so should tell us whether it happens or if democracy recovers.

If democracy recovers, Obama's legacy is gonna be looked at in a much much different way

Some people just can't stomach the fact that they fell for absolute stupidity in 2016. The way they blame "Democrats" for EVERYTHING conservatives do is disgusting. If we had a President Hillary Clinton we would not be still wearing masks 3 years deep in a pandemic that could have been easily contained within a year, we would have had the most liberal Supreme Court ever, and voting rights, civil rights, abortion rights, affirmative action would all be protected, if not expanded. But young folks decided to get woke against the liberal candidate instead of the white power reality show stars, "think for themselves" by listening to a bunch of Facebook Russian bots, Fox News opinion columns, and "Hillary sucks" memes on the internet, and "not let the liberals control them" into supporting gay rights and fair immigration laws, so here we are.
