I'm from Louisiana and I never would've fixed my mouth to say no shyt like that which Coogler did.
When one talks about the relations between "Irish" and "Blacks" in the USA, they have to be specific. Are they talking colonial era Virginia, pre-Civil War North & South, post-Civil War North/South, rural-backwoods etc...
The Seneca Village community was created in 1825 when Andrew Williams, a 25-year-old Black man, used $120 to buy the first three lots; Epiphany Davis, a store clerk, bought 12; and the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church bought six. The remaining lots were sold to other Black people and a few Irish Immigrants, allowing a total of ten homes to be built.
Seneca Village was born in the fall of 1825 when original landowners John and Elizabeth Whitehead decided to subdivide their property and sell it off in lots. Within just one week, Andrew Williams and Epiphany Davis - along with the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church - purchased the first 21 lots, seizing the opportunity to own land in a city where such chances were rare for African Americans and solidifying Seneca Village as a place to gather, worship, and support one another. As more lots were sold, a thriving community began to develop.
By 1832, African Americans had acquired nearly half of the area, transforming what started as just a handful of purchased lots into a thriving community where families cultivated gardens, raised livestock, and built homes side by side.
Word began to spread about Seneca Village's welcoming environment, and by the 1840s, Irish immigrants were settling in the area as well. This influx transformed Seneca Village into a multi-ethnic neighborhood that was two-thirds African American and one-third Irish, with a small number of German immigrants too. Despite their differences in other contexts, these communities coexisted closely within this neighborhood.
That's up North....Coogler ain't make a film up north.....Coogler isn't lying though, which is why I said:
There were even Irish immigrants living with/next to Aframs in Senece Village (NYC)

What's your resume looking like that you can laugh at and call someone with those credentials a loser?![]()
Wasn’t he fired by LA county for incompetence?
I can tell he’s a bum given that he’s a 50 plus year old man living in studio apartment.![]()

Yeah, I didn't think someone shytting on a black UCLA grad really had a resume to speak on in the first place. People who've actually done elite shyt in their life tend to be a bit more, aware, of things like this. Like you can say alot of things about him, but you can't call the UCLA grad Lawyer a loser when you have no real resume worth talking about. That's wild to me when folks get on anonymous forums doing this, knowing damn well the LinkedIn profile pages don't measure up.![]()
The facts are that you are a fleeing refugee that is obsessed with ADOS/FBA politics.
None of this is of concern to you.
What revolt was that because the only thing similar to what you’re discussing is Bacon’s Rebellion in Virginia and your description of it is inaccurate. Indentured servants did not identify with black people and regularly mistreated them. And that did not end indentured servants, it forced colonists to lean heavier into slavery as it was more cost effective and indentured servants had legal protections that black people didnt.
The only revolt that is memorable in the Carolina’s was Stono and white people were not helping black people murder white people.
Never was a refugee, you dusty bum.
That's up North....Coogler ain't make a film up north.....
Coogler is talking bout the southern Irish.
Plus coupled with how racist they were up North by dominating the Police forces.
If y'all wanna continue to support Coogler than fine, but stop tryna cherry pick feel good Irish-Negro history when the bulk of their history lies in the brutalization of my people.
Idk, I gotta see your resume and know what you're doing to compare. Sounds like you'd get fired from it quicker since your shyt don't quite measure upHe’s an incompetent bum. How do you get fired from a county job?![]()
