Yeah he made this beat. I hate this beat lol, but I’ve heard people vehemently disagree before so that’s why I made the thread. I’m a huge RZA fan. Thread is just jokes.

man this beat sounds like some shyt Dirty would’ve fukking blacked out on with the singing and everything.

Yes, it sounds a little “lazy” but any fan of RZA production immediately sees this from his point of view and not as some danceable shyt. This is something you just vibe to.

That shyt is like billie jean compared to this:unimpressed:

Swizz legit finessed he way through the end of the 90s. That Drag On shyt sounds like he stole it from one of his kids who were too young to realize they got ripped off by the industry.

Swizz pretty much got hot because of Ruff Ryder's Anthem and because nikkas got tired of paying for samples.

Also, his uncles ran Ruff Ryders and had to talk DMX into Ruff Ryder's Anthem. He wasn't fukking with the beat.

Like, some of his beats had elements that were good and the drums had a big sound to them, which is probably why they took off like they did...but goddamn do they sound terrible.

Lol beat is classic, I wish RZA took this route while still churning out those classic dusty beats.

If the W had those classic beats like he did on forever and 36 changes with this mixed in it would have carried the Wu over.

Don’t argue with me. He a legend and all, but when I first heard this shyt when it came out i was like:hhh: The fukk is this shyt smh. Why did you loop that:why: It’s so trash.

of course nikkas finna be like naw, it was just different. nikka that shyt was trash. Some nikka gonna come in here and act like it was they favorite song.

To be fair, RZA kind of floated on his verse and his production was flawless the rest of the album. But ...

Rza with a Larry Johnson reference, track was flames

*** In reference to the Drag on Track.
The Wu Track is cool.

If I'm gonna throw a shyt beat into the thread though
it's "zone out" for me.
