Saying 'Good Morning' to co-workers

If I see the person walk in/in the office at the time, I speak. If they see me first, and they speak, I speak back. This shyt is auto-pilot. What's the big deal over acting like you give a fukk about how your co-workers are doing for a couple seconds a day? You spend anywhere from 8-10 (or 12) hours a day with or around these people, and some people bugging about a simple good morning?

We gotta discuss chipping in for drugs and lunch so yeah, good morning is a part of that. I guess when you have jobs where you don't interact with your coworkers much, it's a thing. But I talk to a lotta people on the reg, so even the people I don't really talk to, it's nothing to say Good Morning to them.

I be having a few shots in my system already so I be bout it. A bit of some good ass vodka will get your ass in the goddamn zone. nikkas be childless and going to work sober and shyt, hell naw.

You got to have a light drink in the morning, then get you some shyt or some energy shots at lunch, then get home and have dinner and get hammered and pass out/go home change and get a cab and go to the bar get hammered and go back home and pass out.

tbh yes i don't know what it is. if i don't know you, i don't like you, or if i'm straight up not comfortable around you i won't say jack shyt highest thing you might get from me is a head nod and that's it

for instance i saw a few guys i went to hs with today but i didn't feel the need to walk up to them and say hi because i never really knew them like that and on top i'm not a talkative person

also i have this mentality where if a person dont tell me hi i don't really see a reason why i should too, call it being petty or social anxiety or whatever that's how i just feel

No one's asking you to go out of your way to go say hello to someone, but we're not talking about strangers, we're talking about people you work with shyt I say hello to the bus driver every morning, just trying to be polite

Anyway might be a cultural thing, some of these canadian colleagues I have at work here in Paris are surprised when they get here that we say hello to each other

They be like "This guy said Hello to me in the elevator! "

I'm not giving 27 people a good morning greeting. I'm socialable with almost everyone there in and out of the office. I'll talk sports, or whatever with anyone but I'm not forcing some generic repititious salutation every single morning just cause.

Who's mad, I fux with everyone. We all hang out outside of the office and everything. There's a sincere bond with me a lot of co workers. Saying "good morning" don't mean shyt.
