I just say hi if I don't want to speak much. One syllable and low effort. White women like to smile at me I smile back.

If it's someone I work with, "Hey what's up." Or "good morning" which extends to "how was your weekend," or "what are you up to today?"

It would be great if I can just walk to work and not talk to anybody but since I'm not. and I have a boss who has it in it's best interest to foster interpersonal relations amongst his underlings I don't have much a choice.
