He's not saying to be worthy of the resurrection one must not be married or given in marriage, rather, "in the age to come" ones won't marry or be given in marriage. He's speaking of ones who have been considered worthy, in other words they're already resurrected, have received their reward in heaven and will be like the angels. We're talking about spirit beings, not fleshly humans weighed down with fleshly desires such as the desire to get married. In Genesis it's recorded that angelic creatures deviated from their purpose and came down to earth to have relations with human women which was not natural. In the same way, it would be contrary for those resurrected as angelic beings to get involved with fleshly matters such as, marriage.
