This part of the problem. “Women in other groups” by and large aren’t sitting up kept and living buttery life’s. Kayleigh, Ming Lee, and Marisol are all working jobs and doing the dual income think. Educational attainment gap between genders is something that happens across racial lines. Traditional nuclear homes where mom stays home, isn’t something that has died down exclusively in the black community. So when BW use this as a “We just want the basics of what OTHER races of women get to have” it presents a false narrative that “other races” have had an unchanging family dynamic that reflects 1950s era leave it to beaver America. And that’s just not true. Black men are “think pieces” for not providing this, as if other races of men are still providing this like they used to in the past. Unless he’s the foremen, and not one of the workers, it’s financially tough. For everyone. Doubly so, for black ppl.
I think you may have misunderstood her. Educated women fully expect to work and want to use their degrees.

The basics of other races include getting married in your late 20's to someone you probably been with for a while. If I'm to believe what's said publicly, like yall do for divestors (rightfully), mid- late millenial bm right on down largely don't intend to marry, ever. Therefore, black women are functionally forced to delay childbearing, leading to terrible outcomes in maternal mortality. (Ofc, there are other factors, but age is a big one.) When they choose to do things 'on time', ie, the best and most fruitful years for child bearing, alone, they're wrong. If they wait patiently and finally get chose in their 30s, they're faulted for running up their numbers, being difficult cuz they were single too long and are stuck in their ways, etc.

I think the dude goes too far sometimes but at the end of the day he's using Their social media to highlight what They say and do.

So it's more educational than anything.

The song he uses if from a nollywood movie White Hunters so he might be an African or even a whitey. but he doesn't advocate for becky so I don't know if it's a racist sock puppet account but Accountable Commentary (which goes further in criticizing Black women) thinks he's white. He's used some of AC's material in the past.
That song has been played on here before. That Oshay guy has used it before. The guy has made a TSC reference before so it may be someone who frequents that board. I actually doubt he is an African breh. There would be more non-American or more UK examples. If it was a white guy, he'd definitely be bashing black men in the process as well.

I'm not saying that this doesn't happen but even during slavery most of the slave concubines were light-skinned/mixed women though. Dark-skinned women were quickly discarded.
Yes some white men have preferences...yes the preferences even have preferences. Robin Thicke love light skinned women but it doesn't mean that some white men don't prefer Lupita type dark skinned black women cuz some do.

So what’s the solution for BW here? What are her options?

You preaching today. :wow:

And yes, Black girls are sometimes called golddiggers for wanting the things that are offered as bare minimum to women in other groups.
this is pure unadulterated fiction

@Biscayne did a great job already, but to add.

black women are out here going out of purse for non black males.

They arent even getting that sort of "bare minimum" from them.

Black women have a lot of shyt to sort out mentally and they need to stop looking at black men as a place to shift blame for their own inadequacies.

:yeshrug:The younger women in my family got they bm young. That was my advice bc I been seen this shyt coming. Like @Gloxina, I went to prep school where fully half of the bm only messed with white girls. I saw the play and passed the game along to mine.

My niece just got engaged to a young IT breh who's house shopping. :obama: I think I did good since her mother certainly didn't game her up. Since the divorce from my brother, she's floundering. :mjlol:

So essentially all these black women waxing poetically about the importance of “black women being validated” would basically receive the same treatment from black men, as they claim white women get, if they just…come in peace? Basically most black men are simple creatures who want peace and stability and will absolutely seek this in a woman who looks like him, rather than voraciously bunny hop? :ohhh:

I think we can agree with this. Black men really aren’t that stringent of patriarchs. And most of us seem easy to “control”. :ehh:

Yep. I tried to tell grown women, but they don't listen. Oh well. You can't save somebody who don't wanna be saved. :francis:

When I was regularly posting in bw's spaces, my life was equal to, or better than, those married to wm. The propaganda was so bad, they literally called me a liar. (This stopped when he picked me up from a few meet ups.) They preferred the advice of bitter divorcees because that reaffirmed their shytty choices. Even coli brehs call me a liar, like a well to do bm can't or won't take care of his woman.

To your point about patriarchy, I 1000% agree. I've been totally dependent on this man going on 25 yrs now (since the Feb before 9/11!) and have NEVER felt taken advantage of or 'trapped'. I'm living my dream. All I ever wanted was to read my archaeological studies in peace and he gives me that with very few expectations on his part. Ofc, I go above and beyond. The sex is great. Everybody's happy.

Due to white supremacy, white skin itself is capital. :francis:

Nah, I think we need to get out of this mode.

its causing black people to be stuck in shytty mindsets because the blame gets shifted to something else.

These women have deep feelings of inadequacy and possess esteem disorders.

They need to recognize and fix that and not put the onus on factors out of their control.
