I think you may have misunderstood her. Educated women fully expect to work and want to use their degrees. This part of the problem. “Women in other groups” by and large aren’t sitting up kept and living buttery life’s. Kayleigh, Ming Lee, and Marisol are all working jobs and doing the dual income think. Educational attainment gap between genders is something that happens across racial lines. Traditional nuclear homes where mom stays home, isn’t something that has died down exclusively in the black community. So when BW use this as a “We just want the basics of what OTHER races of women get to have” it presents a false narrative that “other races” have had an unchanging family dynamic that reflects 1950s era leave it to beaver America. And that’s just not true. Black men are “think pieces” for not providing this, as if other races of men are still providing this like they used to in the past. Unless he’s the foremen, and not one of the workers, it’s financially tough. For everyone. Doubly so, for black ppl.
The basics of other races include getting married in your late 20's to someone you probably been with for a while. If I'm to believe what's said publicly, like yall do for divestors (rightfully), mid- late millenial bm right on down largely don't intend to marry, ever. Therefore, black women are functionally forced to delay childbearing, leading to terrible outcomes in maternal mortality. (Ofc, there are other factors, but age is a big one.) When they choose to do things 'on time', ie, the best and most fruitful years for child bearing, alone, they're wrong. If they wait patiently and finally get chose in their 30s, they're faulted for running up their numbers, being difficult cuz they were single too long and are stuck in their ways, etc.

The younger women in my family got they bm young. That was my advice bc I been seen this shyt coming. Like
I think I did good since her mother certainly didn't game her up. Since the divorce from my brother, she's floundering.
