Thats because the traveling isnt to learn about the world, it's just for IG. Purely and solely. That's why it's not adding up. There's chicks who have traveled everywhere and ate McD's at every stop. Hoes who say a bear is safer than a man but will travel out the country to meet a random guy cuz he bought a plane ticket. There's nothing "cultural" about the uptick in debt traveling.

I understand guys here might travel for different reasons, but what that YT video is describing, is the travel-for-IG shyt. Which is the bulk of what millennials and Gen Z are doing.

Houses in neighborhoods nicknamed murder gardens go for like 550-600k right now. Those houses were selling for 50-70k as late as early 2010s. Actually after the last market crash, early 2010s was probably one of the biggest wealth building opportunities in our lifetime. I was trying to find my footing in that time but yea everything was dirt cheap. Houses cbs block for lik 25k. You cant even get the land for that price. Opportunity was everywhere..

Lot of millennials was still in college and broke at that time and had no power to move on it and once they finally hit stride and got the money/job/status to grab something, prices tripled but the wages didn’t..like a rug pull on a whole generation

Young people are starting to figure out that the only solution is to just live life, stack up some imaginary debt and then when the time supposedly comes to "pay back" what you "owe", we just need to come together and kill all those people who claim we owe them anything. There is a group of narcissists in society who fool others into accepting an unequal distribution in society. Then the narcissists think they can push their luck and demand more and more for themselves thinking nobody is ever going to revolt. Then, eventually, people get sick of it and violence erupts, forcing the narcissists to fall back (French Revolution, American Revolution, October Revolution, Holocaust, etc.).

If you go up to someone and say give me some money today and I'll pay you back more money later that's not a fictional concept nor is it slavery. The problem is people aren't adverse to debt because they've been conditioned to accept it.

Debt isn't all bad but when you use it to acquire excessive things or stuff you don't really have the money for that doesn't help you make more money it becomes a problem.

When you have a $5K budget and it has to be cash you probably aren't buying a car that cost the full $5K but when you're putting down $5K on a car it's nothing to go out and buy a car that cost $50K (when you have maybe an additional $3K in the bank) on a payment plan for 7 years. The payments are a problem for future you to sort out anyway and you can have the car now.

Your 21 yr old "crippled" with debt can buy a house and retire before 50 easily in today's economy


A 21 yr old should be in good shape. That means it's not necessary for him to buy a 40,000 car with payments for the next 5 yrs, 200 a month for insurance, along with gas and maintenance

Drop the fukking ego

Buy a thousand dollar mountain bike. Get it tuned up every 3 months for 50 bucks. Buy no flat tubes. Every single last dollar u had to spend on the car money trap, save+invest. Utilize Amazon, insta cart, Uber one, Lyft. It's not 1998 it's 2025 a car is not a necessity everything including groceries can be delivered. Rental cars can be had for 60 bucks a day for dates


Now in 5 years instead of a paid off used vehicle that makes u look poor or u gotta buy another one, u got $50,000 as a down payment. Now u not paying rent, u paying down a mortgage

Before the age of 40 the house is yours, simply cause u rode a bike instead of driving a car to work

U all are doing to yourselves, tryna impress and outdo each other instead of focusing on aquiring assets and removing yourself from the 9 to 5 hamster wheel. The money is there, the younger generation is absolutely horrible at allocating money properly, and even further, they brag about getting finessed. You know something funny though. Its odd how theres so many places where folks live and are nearby where they live that theyve NEVER visited, NEVER explored and they couldnt tell you shyt about if you asked them whats going on in their own backyard, their own state, city or area but think theyre so "cultured" or "well traveled" because they took a plane to asia, europe, africa or outside the country. at least know the ins and outs of where you live or are at. If you dont know where to go or how to have a good time WITHOUT SPENDING A DIME where you live then you need to check yourself. Way too many people are doing the most and they arent even enjoying themselves because theyre doing that shyt for other peoples approval, kudos, attention and shyt. fukk that. Dont get it twisted. I love to travel, am an adventurer/explorer and etc. Always been like that. i do it out of a genuine love for seeing and knowing different areas, cultures, history,accents, and etc. I do it for myself.
