So you don't enjoy Luther Vandross, Teddy Pendergrass, Elton John, etc music because they're gay? I can't imagine being so insecure about my own sexuality that I can't listen to a gay musician making a love song. lol smh

If we can pretend a rap legend didnt say he would suck a woman's father's dikk, we can ignore lines about this nikka giving top.

I'm gonna have to put a disclaimer in the OG Post

I'm not discussing being able to enjoy art made by gay artists

Those artists you named may have been gay, but Elton John is the only one that came out publically

And, I don't recall any of them making openly gay music, where they sang about having sexual relations with other men

That's what this thread is about, breh

The supposed dikk sucking line is so quick and easy to miss and you can barely make out what he is saying. Sounds to me like "said the dikk long as a swan neck", but somebody quoted it as "sucked a dikk long a swan neck" and everyone ran with it.

Regardless, he is pretty unapologetic about his sexuality in his music. Either get over it or don't listen :yeshrug:

Don't play dumb nikka. You know damn well I I was talkin bout the album thread you brought up and said had 100 posts about some gay line.

Actually I didn't

I'll blame your communication skills

Either way, reading a stickied thread, where 10 consecutive posts is about the same line, is hardly "posting up," retarded nikka

there are a lot of songs about gay issues or gay relations. Does it take anything away from them?

Assuming most of the brehs in the two album threads are heterosexual,

how do y'all get past the fact that he sings about giving head to another man, and still enjoy his music?

I usually have to be able to relate to the artist in order to enjoy their work

I actually applaud y'all for being able to be so openminded though

Guess i'm just a dinosaur :francis: :manny:
I mean Biggie said, "I'll suck ya daddy's dikk." Pimp C technically rapped about getting head from an unborn fetus, and nikkas still treat them like gods (which they are in the rap game). Rappers stay talking about their dikk in songs, and people like you still listen, buy, and attend their concerts. At the end of the day, good music is good music.

I feel you on that breh,

but a lot of youngins don't realize that that Big line

was a popular line from a Richard Pryor stand up routine "The Wino and the Junkie"

When Big wrote the line in '93-'94, it was expected that the audience would automatically make the connection

whole shyt is classic, but 5:09

music transcend laguage, race and sexual orentation

Nah, I wouldn't listen to music about pedophilia, rape, Klansman music, recreational crack smoking etc, even if it was the most sonically amazing piece of music recorded.

If I don't fukk with the content, I can never take it in. It will never transcend with me personally. That's just me though, alot of others could probably listen to that stuff objectively
