Serious question for Frank Ocean fans

As a Frank Ocean fan that swan line threw me off and kinda scared me. That ain't the norm for homie. He doesn't openly sing about homosexuality. He explicitly mentions p*ssy and yada yada. He has a song about the fun box called Pink Matter with 3K. I'm not sure if i'd be able to vibe with that if he did. shyt...I only listen to a few female artists because of those reasons.

It's like R. Kelly, the music and personal life should be separated. I care about the music. I could vibe with it cause I never heard him sing about peeing on women or fukking kids.

And good music is good music. That's why I'm here.

If I don't fukk with the content, I can never take it in. It will never transcend with me personally. That's just me though, alot of others could probably listen to that stuff objectively

I usually have to be able to relate to the artist in order to enjoy their work

Just checked her 'Ooouuu' joint a couple days ago, and I admitted that I fukked with it

But I can relate to her because

1) I've been cool with a couple dykes over my lifetime, and it was always a great experience

2) Most dykes that I know, don't really fukk with homosexual dudes lifestyles either. Some kinda pick up on regular nikkas biases on that issue, in a weird kinda way.

All I'm saying is when she said it in the rap, I related to it, and didn't feel weird, like I would if she was a dude talking about deep throating another dude

I do agree with you saying music has no sexual orientation, but when he released that letter to the public

I figured that was a preface to him becoming more free in his music, in regards to his sexual orientation
