I think it helps that he is poetic with his music and he dont be going into details.:lolbron:

If he was like " Nikka, come over here so I can bust dat ass wide open and dome you up!" I would be a bit more on my "fukk this nikka" steeze. :why::scust::jbhmm:....:trash::camby:

So singing about suckin a dikk "as long as a ostrich neck", allegedly, is more acceptable?

I haven't heard the line/song in question yet but I've always said that unless it's some funny shyt (think Devin, Too Short, Em) I'm not trying to hear a bunch of sexually explicit shyt about your dikk and what you do with it even if you're hetero. So I damn sure ain't about to listen to an entire album where ANYBODIES sexuality is the crux of the whole thing. It even got old with Lil Kim and Trina talking about it so frequently.

As for homosexuals specifically I don't identify with being gay anymore than I do with being a drug king pin so again...as long as the persons sexuality isn't a gimmick or at the forefront it's whatever.

If you just gonna talk about relationships without giving me details we straight (rimshot...no homo..wait )

Dope instrumentation, poetic lyrics and Freddie was dope on the vocals, I think it's a beautiful song that happens to be super gay.

Listening to this album, it's pretty ambiguous so it applies to whoever you want it to apply to. He says stuff like "give me a blowjob", "had you screaming my name" and naturally i think of a female and male doing these acts, so... there goes that. He's also not really a sexually explicit singer. He's more of the introspective, pondering, reminiscing type.

I feel you on that breh,

but a lot of youngins don't realize that that Big line

was a popular line from a Richard Pryor stand up routine "The Wino and the Junkie"

When Big wrote the line in '93-'94, it was expected that the audience would automatically make the connection

whole shyt is classic, but 5:09

I've gotta tell you something about Richard

As for homosexuals specifically I don't identify with being gay anymore than I do with being a drug king pin

I considered my ability to relate to rappers who claimed to commit crimes that I haven't too

What I came up with is, while I may not be able to fully relate to the kingpin or murderer's lifestyle, I can relate to the shaky moral codes, some of the experiences, thought processes, motivations, characters, and the coded languages of the lifestyles expressed in the rhymes

Infinitely moreso than I would be able to relate to a man who sings about sucking dikk

So in my experience, that's not a fair comparison

However, I'm also well aware that the nikka singing about sucking dikk, could very well be realer than any of the nikkas rapping about slangin birds, in real life

It's all entertainment at the end of the day

All about what you choose to spend time listening to..

His roast where he talked about fukking a fakkit came out in 77

Didn't know that breh

Gotta check it out

Will say, I still don't think it was common knowledge

At least amongst black folk

Until the book came out in '95
