melo needs the league to go back to all man2man

instantly back in the top5-top10 ppg

*

Not anymore, guy just can't get past his man or create any space any more. He's not even quick enough to get by 4s.

He was one of the best one on one scorers I've ever seen play but he's past it now, no quickness and no lift left.

i hear you but there's ways to play & get buckets with basically zero pace

you can walk it in & use angles & footwork to move your defender out of position

the main thing is no coach/team is letting melo take a shotclock to get his

they have to keep the spectators thinking something is happening

the average observer isn't seeing the aesthetic value in that type of game it's the reason so many dodo birds chirping that bs about scam.gawd.harden being boring

it's just the wrong environment for melo he's out of his era

melo stopped drivin after he had knee surgery
and he rarely gets calls in the post
so he just started jacking
hes in his 15th season, most players from his draft and some drafts after him are out of the league
doesn't help that hes playing with one of the wildest players in nba history lol

he'll help them when playoff time comes

There should be a list of all 94 fools who said that Carmelo was better than Draymond. :dead:

Another 45 said that Wiggins was better than Draymond. :heh:

43 said that Paul Millsap was better than Draymond. :jbhmm:

44 (a majority cause most people had quit the stupid polls) said that Avery Bradley was better than Dray. :skip:

29 said that Jabari Parker was better than Draymond. :dead:

77 said that Kevin Love was better than Draymond. :shaq2:

And 56 had IT ahead of Draymond. :russ:

Those 30-odd polls gotta have been the worst continuous waste of stickied board space in Coli history. Only thing they good for is exposing the casuals who cast some of those votes. :lolbron:
how many games does a team with a prime draymond green as their best player win tho:dead:

This guy has been washed since 15-16. This is nothing new. Been telling ya'll this. nikka was literally one of the worst defenders in the league last year and played some of the most selfish ball I've ever seen a player play offensively. He regularly got shytted on by bum players night in and night out.

18 points on 18 shots :whoo:

Got shytted on by Robert Covington and Justin Anderson all night. :wow:

Ices the loss with a beautiful fadeaway brick over a double team. :lawd:

Some of his highlights from tonight.

#StayMe7o ya'll!:ohlawd:

But nikkas are so enamored by that 20 PPG mark they completely ignored that fact that he was trash in every other aspect of basketball. Any bum nikka can score 20+ PPG if he gets enough shots. Even if the Knicks are still trash I'm just glad this bum is off the team. :whew:

This melo is fat and doesn’t workout shyt is running its course on here. It’s a corny thing one poster made up and everyone’s running with it.

Nothing wrong with him being fit. He’s exactly where a 34yr old should be physically whether in the nba or civilian world. Not everyone can be lebron.

I’m not defending his play, it’s obviously been average this season. The scoring for a 3rd option should of been expected but his Shooting percentage is down across the board and that’s alarming, clearly the knee surgery took a toll on him. At this point in his career, if he wants to compete for a ring, coming off the bench is best suited for him

More games than a team with current Carmelo as their best player. :mjlol:

And "How good are you as a team's best player" is a dumb argument for anyone other than superstars. Not one of the guys I mentioned is even dreaming of leading a team to the title as the #1 guy in 2017. I'm gonna be looking at how much they can contribute to a title team. And Draymond is gonna be a bigger plus for a title contender than anyone else on that list.

Melo cant rely on just talent and his natural scoring ability anymore. If he wants to continue to be a starter in the league he will have to get in optimum shape this summer and be committed to being a small ball power forward from this point on. His numbers this year aren't that bad he just needs to up his shooting percentage and he can do that by working on his legs so he can get lift on his jumper. He can still be an effective 15-17 ppg scorer for a team even at this stage.

OP talking like Melo was ever some phenomenal athlete...like he didn't come in the league shaped like Theodore Seville with braids. I'm lightweight surprised he's still playing - he looks and moves like the Illest Nicca With Diabetes. But I guess I shouldn't be shocked; dude is named after a hallway-solid candy bar.

Ya see, what I'm getting at is he is a Fat-American.
