I see a lot of you are talking about the game in here more than the article. I hope you all actually read the article, it is probably one of the best sports articles I have read. Very detailed account of Pop's mindstate.

I hope history doesn't forget that Lebron had a GOAT caliber 4th quarter to bring the Heat back into that game. Ray was the savior obviously, but Lebron did most of the work and probably would have won the game on his own if Wade hadn't come back in and disturbed the flow.

 C'mon man

they were up 3 when Wade came back in and his only "negative" was missing one jumper. Bron had 3 turnovers in under 2 mins

You are ignoring momentum and flow and giving a box score type analysis.

It was plain as day during the game that Wade reentering changed things. Dig up the game thread and I'm sure you will find a bunch of people saying the same thing.

I aint trying to use this to diss Wade, just making observations

Breh I'm not saying you were trying to diss Wade, but they were trading baskets at best and had already missed a couple shots in a row a when Wade came back in. If they lose the game and Wade's on the bench Spoelstra doesn't make it out of the arena employed

Yeah, you are right there. Wade coming back in was not an option. Not saying Wade or Spoelstra can be blamed for it, just saying that it killed the flow.

But you also might be right that the run had already possibly ended before Wade had re-entered. Emotions were high at the time, would need another rewatch to say whether I agree or not.

Either way, it just bugs me when people have to mention Lebron's missed 3's and how Ray saved them when in reality Lebron's entire 4th quarter is what truly saved them. It was bully basketball and was great to watch. And One-Nike-Mike's 3 pointer can't be ignored either, that was just as important as Lebron's dominance in establishing a change in momentum.

Dog....Wade coming back in and Bron no longer being surrounded by shooters created that lack of spacing Bron had prior to that. Why do you guys always turn things into personal disses in here?

It's not a slight on Wade....it's just that the small line up full of shooters surrounding Bron got them back in the game.
