Since 1987, an astonishing 52 rappers have been murdered, with only a handful of them solved.

I'm surprised they listed Mr. Cee and Seagram. It's far from a comprehensive list though... Out here in the Bay alone:

Seagram
Mr. Cee
Hittman

Plan Bee
King Freako
Johnny Ca$h
Charizma
Pretty Black
Mac Dre
The Jacka
Lil G
Ghost8800
Killa Keise
Sirdy Wit Da 30
Tay Ruk
Quise Da Criminal

Yeah, you moved the goal posts. Your first goal post was ICP couldn't be "real music" because
you never heard 'em on the radio, saw 'em in a video, or read an interview of them. My point in bringin'
up Beethoven is that he is one of many people you never seen in that format either, so that's a dumb
reason for saying something isn't "real music".

And that sword cuts both ways. A person who listens to classical music all day could say the same
about any rapper as reason why they don't make "real music" - that doesn't make it true. It's just their opinion -
which is different from fact.

Do I seriously think ICP has accomplished more than Biggie & Pac?
How much have the accomplished?

Not Pac, but Biggie is arguable.
I noticed you left out Big L, who was in the first post of that point bringing them up.
They have definitely accomplished more than Big L.
That's not to say they are "better" than him, but they have more "accomplishments" than he does.
:russ:

You're seriously arguing that ICP is more accomplished or anywhere near as accomplished as Biggie Smalls?

The first time he picked up a microphone he was already more accomplished than them nikkaz:mjlol:

Dude's regularly called the "greatest rapper of all-time".

I mean, c'mon. Just admit you made a bad argument and move on.

ICP aren't more accomplished than Big, or Pac, or Big L, or Mac Dre or Drake or even Bud Bundy when he was rapping on "Married with Children" that time.:francis:

That's an opinion, doe. You can't argue chit with just opinion.

Dude's regularly called the "greatest rapper of all-time".

This is also an opinion.

Here's the thing - I didn't even make this argument...somebody else made it. I'm just agreeing that it's arguable.

Y'all can't even admit it's arguable. lol

Okay - it ain't with Pac, but the rest of them? It absolutely is arguable.

:russ: Yeah, it's an opinion the way that right-wingers call Global Warming an "opinion".

There's literally no respected member of the Hip-Hop community. No DJs, no MCs, no legends that would argue that the Insane Clown Posse is as accomplished as Biggie Smalls or Big L. That's just non-sense.

Once something is that agreed upon by a learned brain trust, it's not an opinion, it's fact.

So you admit it's an opinion. Good.

...and just who is the "learned brain trust" of hip-hop?

You know what, scratch that - we'll do it like this:

What are Big L's "accomplishments"?

Um, the learned brain trust are Hip-Hop heads. People dedicated to the culture, from respected MCs, B-boys, DJs, and certified real nikkaz. Plenty of your favorite MCs, DJs, and magazines have called Big L top 5 dead or alive.

Name me one respected Hip-Hop magazine, MC, or DJ that considers the Insane Clown Posse top anything.

Big L's considered one of the greatest MC's of all-time by many people. That in itself is more accomplishment than those clowns can have in a lifetime.

But on Friday, Dec. 16, 2011, Dunkin got into an altercation with a man at a recording studio on Memorial Drive in Atlanta, reportedly over a piece of candy, which led to a fistfight in the street. The scuffle ended when the man pulled out a gun and shot Slim once in the chest.

You're giving me arbitrary designations, not "accomplishments".

"Accomplishments" are actual things someone does. What did Big L do?

Did he bring anything special to the game? Did he start something that other people repeated?
Did he go gold or platinum?

What did Big L do?

nikka, this is Hip-Hop.

PROPS is what Hip-Hop was founded on.

What do you think rappers were rapping for before rappers were going gold and platinum? PROPS

If you were to go up to HIp-Hop heads in 1990 and tell them that Vanilla Ice had more accomplishments than Rakim because he had a diamond record and Ra didn't, you get stomped to death.

Your definition of "accomplishments" is dependent on a corporate mainstream vision of rap, where somehow selling records to dumb White kids is equal to being dope to the nikkaz in the hood and I'm sorry, that's never been what Hip-Hop was about.

Now, if you cant get props from the "enlightened brain trust" AND mainstream audiences? Fine.

But don't fukking tell me that fukking Chingy is more accomplished than Big Daddy Kane because Chingy's got a no. 1 Billboard single and BDK didn't.
