We have one of those at work.
It's cool but it honestly doesn't get that much play. We stay using like 2-4 crockpots and this air fryer tho

Was just talkin' with someone who just got an air fryer... he says it gets the most burn right now out of all of his countertop cooking appliances.

the turbo convection oven has been getting the most burn from me lately, followed by the crock pot, which has been a staple...

Why do you think the Instant Pot isn't getting love like that at the job? It looks incredible. :noah:

LOL if you know how to use your stove and oven properly you have no need for a crockpot. A Dutch Oven does everything a crockpot does better and in a quarter of the time. Take it from a pro, because you know, I does this shyt professionally. But what do I know? I just pay all of my bills from cooking and I've cooked at damn near every level of the game excluding fine dining.

A crock pot is a waste of money, it''s also dangerous, and is an idiot's Dutch Oven. Learn to use your god damn oven and stove properly.

I'm grumpy. It's holiday and show season in my world. I'm participating in restaurant week, we just changed our menu, I'm the lead, and I'm fukking exhausted. I'm a little crabby.

You don't need a recipe for a crock pot. Put water in that bytch. Put lemon, lime, dr. pepper, coca cola, vinegar, apple cider vinegar, etc in that bytch. Get a tough cut of meat like pork shoulder, skirt steak, short ribs etc. Add yellow onion, garlic, cilantro, salt pepper, and go pass out. Leave that fukker at 250-350 for over 2 hours.

Basically crock pots are great for home cooks because they're idiot-proof and when you burn your food you don't notice. HAHAHA. When all your food is the same texture that's not good. Just because something tastes good doesn't mean it's made correctly. Again, this is my professional opinion.

Or you can use both and a microwave if need be.

Super Facts. I'm not going to drop game on how and why, but you're right. And you know your shyt. I'm impressed. LOL I like the way you think my friend. There's two schools of thought on the line IMO. High heat short cooking time and low heat long cooking time. I prefer high heat short cooking time.

My goal is to be faster than faster food while making real food. Most of my techniques center around speed.

It's main convenience is that it replaces like a bunch of different appliances. A lot of which people don't use anyway. Who you know that makes yogurt or ice cream? That shyt is silly. It's kind of like a multi tool. If you have a multi tool that has a Philips head,a flat head, an Alan wrench, a knife, small scissors...its probably cool and of great value but the chances are in a pinch you may only need one of those tools and having that one tool isn't a good replacement for having a good single screwdriver or set of Alan wrenches, knife, scissors etc.

For the most part I work overnight and a long time ago someone saw the air fryer on an infomercial and we were all like :comeon:. Someone ended up copping for free at Walmart and we used it for shyts and giggles, but it's really :ehh:. I wouldn't own one in my house and I don't believe food tastes any better but it gets fries, chicken taquitos, and other shyt crispy without oil. :yeshrug: it definitely works.

.

We have an extra long table that has like 6 outlets on it and coworkers just plug in crock pots daily and nightly breh. An oven just ain't convenient especially at a job. At my job most people spend more time working than seeing their own families so we cook and eat home cooked food every day.

LMAO, naw Dutch Ovens you dumbass, are an older family tradition, as are casseroles you dipshyt. I'm talking hundreds of years of history and tradition. Same with cast iron skillets. You're a fukking idiot. Shut the fukk up. Dutch Oven brought us the cupcake fukk face, what's more classic than a casserole or cupcake, which wouldn't exist without the Dutch Oven.

You don't know what you're talking about you fukking fakkit. Again, I can do whatever you think is fancy in a crock pot, in a Dutch Oven, Cast Iron Skillet, or Soup Pot in a quarter of the time and it'll be much better. Any cook worth their money can. It's the most basic shyt in the game breh, bulk salads are super fukking basic. Hot or cold a bulk salad is child's play.

How many awards do you have? I got so many my kitchen looks like the Laker's locker room. I just won one for having one of the most interested menu items in one of the most popping food cities in the world. Again, I know what I'm talking about, and you don't.

Shut the fukk up, continue being fakkit who uses a crock pot for eight hours rather than doing the same shyt better in a quarter of the time. This is why you pay to eat food and I get paid to cook food and design menus. Shut your fukking mouth and don't ever speak to me like you can do a fraction what I can do.

This ain't food network bytch, this is real life. You cannot see me in a kitchen in anything. I'll out cook every member of your family. Super facts.
