@Rebelmbc240 Go to sleep. :snoop:

My mom used to love that shyt, throw a roast in there and have that shyt coming out with the texture of a leather boot :mjcry:

But howwwwwwwwwww tho :mindblown:

And yes it can be a crutch, but if it tastes good idgaf if someone uses it as a crutch.

@nikkahs B. Wildin

yeah it's the quick crispiness that has me intrigued by it.

Keep thinking throwing all your ingredients and seasonings in at one time takes skill dumbass. I've taught 7 years old to throw down on a meal for six from scratch. If you knew anything about real cooking you would know I'm right. The Dutch Oven is the original Crock Pot. It does all that shyt faster and better. You can bake and cook shyt in a Dutch Oven and a Crock Pot.

Do you even know how a Crock Pot works? What is it's heating source? What do you actually know? I can explain the whole process to you from top bottom. You probably can't tell me what actually cooks the food in a Crock Pot. Buy a Dutch Oven, lol they're kind of cheap, you can cook your food faster, and get a better result.

Or don't cook, be lazy, I'm not tripping. Just don't tell a professional how to do their job when you don't know how to use a kitchen. A professional kitchen equates a crockpot with a microwave, actually a microwave has a specific use and some fine dining places use them. A crock pot though? hell no.

The things I can do with just two knives, a flat top grill, salt and pepper would change your life.

I swear these things are like kitchen cheat codes :blessed:

Pretty much every recipe boils down to "throw it in the slow cooker and let it sit for eight hours"

Thank you for making this thread! I bought myself a Kitchen Aid Multi-Cooker with the Stir Station and it is the shyt!!!!

Seems surreal seeing this thread because I am going to use my Multi-Cooker for the 2nd time by making Hawaiian Pineapple Chicken thighs. Got my chicken marinating with the herbs, spices and goodies as I type this...

When I get off work, I will throw them in the joint and set it on low, sleep and when I wake up it will be done!:blessed:

I will make my rice and veggies in my other less expensive multi cooker.

I can't wait to get my grub on!!:ahh::lawd:

For extra flavor and just because in most recipes in the crock pot I like to sear the meat to get that color,crisp,and helps lock in flavor.

Only thing different i'd do with this recipe is sear the chicken after I seasoned it for a few minutes .

Anybody got one of these? :noah:

... still would keep my turbo, halogen convection oven, tho. :sas2:

I've had one similar for 2 years.

Crock pot better.

This is better for when you want fast food.

Downsides are your food can come out watered down tasting (nowhere fore water evaporation to go)
and if you're not careful, your food will straight up disintegrate. I've had a whole chicken turn to pretty much mush before.

If you wanna make red beans and rice or chili or something like that, though?

99 minutes, shyt can't be beat.

that's one real way to try to lock in the flavor even more. I do that too.
