For as much as the American media have been successful in making the ghetto black woman the welfare queen the halting of snap hurts a lot more than just them. It hurts the poor white woman who still recieve it more and it will tremendously hurt food markets all across the country who rely on snap customers at a significant rate. This might be a play from the trump administration to create the issue and become the solution and make himself more favorable to the American public. It isn't. You need to re-qualify yearly, and in places like Illinois you have to do a midpoint as a 6mo alternation to ensure that one still qualifies.

Secondly, qualifications are slanted heavily by federal poverty guidelines, and that in itself is tied to the federal minimum wage, which is like $7 an hour or whatever dystopian number it is.

Lastly, the taxes levied on the population should benefit said population.

That literally doesn't make any sense.

Conservatism is a selfish ideology. It is built on a core belief that bad things happen to other people and its their own fault when it happens.

When they cant work and cant afford to eat, they have two choices:

1. Go to a local non profit who will provide that aid since the government assistance programs they called socialism and a waste of money are now gone.

2. Starve to death/turn to crime and get used to seeing white mugshots on the news several times more than they'd see a black mugshot.

They truly believe that black people and immigrants get all kinds of special treatment and we are all living wonderful lives and if someone lightly criticizes us then we just have to call them a racist and that person's entire life is ruined. They believe that we are living high off the hog on government benefits because we are lazy and don't want to work. They dont believe that THEY will be victims of corporate restructuring. They dont believe that THEY will ever need public housing or food aid. They believe thats for OTHER people and not them.

So then when shyt hits the fan and they rely on local non government, non profit organizations to survive, they will actually be face to face with the people theyve been told were lazy and gamed the system or are mentally deranged and want to turn their kids gay and force them to say "they/them" and do land acknowledgments at gunpoint. They will realize that by actually talking to normal people how fukking crazy they sound and begin to realize that the reason they aren't dead is because of the same mutual aid they consider communism or liberal bullshyt. Nobody is forcing them to the soup kitchens, they can choose to beg trump to save them and see how that goes. They can also take their chances at trying to live on the street since a core part of conservative belief is that homelessness is a personal problem and those people on the street are once again, too lazy to work. They'll see for themselves how easy it is to bounce back from being homeless in america.

The world and USA will come to a reckoning when AI takes white collar jobs. You see how these a$$hole baby boomers are already treating us like tax slaves. Social security will be insolvent come 2032. If AI does its thing and by 2035 corporations can rid themselves of 90% plus of their white collar jobs, what will non elites say?

Republicans are on the wrong side of benefits. UBI will be a thing within our lifetime. Do you honestly believe CACs will be ready to tell the government to tax these corporations 65% -85% to support the people?

Trump is literally gutting govt and services to give the rich a tax break. Corporate tax rate should be in line with Europe, healthcare should be a right, minimum wage across all states should be $15 (really $22), everybody over 67 should be able to qualify for HUD, the govt should pay for 60 credits towards a degree within a state school and military spending should be under 600 billion.

Imagine collecting 4.5 trillion dollars and not getting any of these services.
